All season long, I couldn't figure out why they were revealing the cover of other cops every time they were captured... Isn't it possible to arrest them for show, too, and let them go around the corner?

After watching the entire first season, I can say that this episode is the most depressing. None of the team wanted to be emotionally involved in the case, but everyone suffered as a result.
