Description
Cinderella is the daughter of a wealthy duke who has remarried to provide her with a mother and sisters. When the Duke travels abroad, Cinderella discovers that her new family is anything but a family. With spoiled stepsisters and a harsh stepmother, Cindrella is forced to cook, clean and manage the household. Yet she remains cheerful, gentle and kind to her family, to her animal friends and to a mysterious boy, named Charles, who seems to have a connection with the prince of Emerald Castle. A whole new story on a classic fairytale. When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from the lovable mice Gus and Jaq, and from her Fairy Godmother.
Definitely I will look further)))
I really regret that I didn't watch it on TV at the time like all normal people...
During the viewing, I constantly compared it to the Disney interpretation of a fairy tale, and if Disney's Cinderella was more strong-willed, had some kind of inner core and tried to achieve her dreams, then in this title the main character was a completely weak-willed slob with Stockholm syndrome to boot.
Did the stepmother say not to go to the ball and stay in her room? Well, why not? Is the duke standing in front of you and waiting for you to try on a shoe? It's time to be sad and stand with a martyred look for half an hour... Is the prince looking for you all over the kingdom? No, I can't be with him, I'm not right for him, he's a prince and I'm nobody!
Of course, you shouldn't look for logic in such anime, but some moments were specifically freezing. For example, how can you not recognize your close friend just because he is wearing different clothes?? Or don't you recognize Cinderella just because she's wearing a dress and a different hairstyle? "Who does she remind me of??" Seriously??
In everything else, I really liked it, as a big fan of the Disney Cinderella, I couldn't get past this title, especially since it was reminiscent of my favorite anime from the collection of the world's leading animes in terms of atmosphere and drawing.
I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to be nostalgic for childhood!
