Madlax: Season 1

If I recall why I usually disliked anime from the noughties before, then I would say that for some tedium and stretching of the plots, with all the action that happens throughout the title.
Madlax is no exception.
To be honest, I watched it in 3 or even 4 days, although I planned to finish it in two at the very least. But this piece was so boring that I had to stop watching YouTube and something else to make it more fun and then come back to watching it.
The most positive aspect of the whole anime is the music of Yuki Kajiura. What is difficult to spoil is the work of this composer and her ward singers.
The plot as a whole is also quite good, but as far as I'm concerned, it's too long. Some episodes could just be thrown out without losing anything.
But there were problems with the ending. Very big problems.
The main villain died three or four damn times in one episode. And there was no reasonable explanation for why he was alive.
Okay, his first return can be attributed to the fact that Margaret allegedly came out of hypnosis and in fact he did not die (but where is his mask?? Madlax only shot her down when she killed him the first time.) The second time he was killed by Margaret herself, but for some reason he ended up at his base somewhere nearby, but Madlax kills him again. Which shouldn't be there in theory.
In general, it seems to me that one pretentiously beautiful time would be enough.
Otherwise, the anime is good, but it's not easy to watch. I will not recommend it because I am sure that it will not work for many and it will be fair.

The beginning is super.
