The language may be very interesting and lively, but they speak terribly unintelligibly. At the same time, there is a lot of complex text, an excessive amount of empty but intricate chatter and unnecessary words that are not directly related to the plot. One of the tricks in conversations with a friend is the diligent development of both. And my friend's pronunciation is the most disgusting. The boss speaks even worse, not only with terrible diction, but also very verbose, unstructured, with a lot of abstract "garbage" and sometimes quite quickly. All this with unexpectedly crappy sound and a complete lack of original subtitles. A real and rather difficult test. And, admittedly, it significantly spoils the viewing experience.

He's a fucking English detective, after all. It's a pity that it's so underrated.

The most glorious thing is, of course, the communication of the main character with a reckless friend, peppered with ironic jokes. I really liked it, everything is very intelligent in English.

My wife allows me to date, and you think that there will be more drama with the child... And it turns out that he comes to walk the dog!)))

@7kozlov: Yes, the accent of most of the characters is still the same... You strain your ears like locators. I read on one of the forums that in the USA they were shown with subtitles both because of the dialect and to convey to the viewer the essence of parochial jokes and double meanings. That is, it was clearly shot exclusively for the domestic market, and now itv is unlikely to be able to afford such a luxury. Although the series is certainly the most wonderful.
