Midsomer Murders: Season 23

Fleur's character is an incredible decoration of the series! She's just a jack-of-all-trades :)) both biker and drag queen are in the past. Not to mention the expertise in forensic examination 😎

It's a strange series. From time to time, I caught myself thinking that the characters were breaking out of their usual behavior and it looked somehow awkward. Rocco's mother is something, hopefully the guy will be able to separate from her in the future. It's scary to imagine what else she can do, justifying everything by caring for her son. And finally find a pair for Winter, and what is not a series is new, although there is almost never any interest on his part. And, after all, I want him to be happy too.

I have a lot of questions about the age of the characters and actors. The drowned boy was 17 years old, i.e. Chrissy is also 15-17, so in the present she is 35-37? The actress doesn't seem to be even 30. The gray-haired man who defended Chrissy looks like he's under 60, in the past he and the girl look the same age (well, or he's 20 years old), and in the present he's 20+ years older. To be honest, it made it very difficult to comprehend the plot.

I liked the motives of the crimes. "All for the sake of the children." One stole for the sake of the child, the other killed for the sake of the child. It's creepy, of course, but it's also partly understandable. Partly.

Why don't Barnaby's daughters give their word? I haven't said a word in the entire episode.
