The intro of "Faded Camellia" was very beautiful, I love that. I'm glad Fitzgerald was true to his word, but... With each episode, the situation gets worse, and poor Kenji gets stabbed all the time. The fact that the actual betrayal came from a spy of the Hounds, who was holed up in the port mafia, was surprising... The young Tachihara is like this: "I will infiltrate the port mafia, the actions of whose leader in the war directly led to the death of my older brother (and other soldiers), just to completely ignore this garbage leader Mori Ogai, and go after a woman from a completely different organization, who was a child at the time." Poor Yosano, she can take revenge in peace, but I can'T! How UNFAIR. I'm pretty sure Kunikida is alive- they didn't show the corpse, so they shouldn't kill Yosano either. But it's still exciting.
(Funny thing: Jono carried a Tachihara cape with him all the time, right? :D)

"Come here, you pathetic ghost of the past! Detective Yosano Akiko will beat the crap out of you!
YESANO IS THE BEST, I LOVE YESANO

The visual storytelling is awesome. The position of the Ramp above everyone, intentionally above the cross, in the center of the spotlight, is almost as if he were some kind of higher being. Judging from above. Something like a n g e l a, who, according to the play, is a gifted being, as he now considers himself, since Fukuzawa called him such. The murder and the play are deeply connected, but so is the symbolism of how Rampo towers above all others, the concept of the "gifted" and the themes outlined in the play.

Fukuzawa's Ability: "All people are equal."
Also Fukuzawa: Do you see people around you? Compared to you, they're real fools. The stupid ones are very stupid. Even ignorant idiots. Small children :D

I thought the shades of gray symbolized Fukuzawa's past and POV, but they actually showed how scary and lonely the world seemed from Rampo's point of view (he wasn't a monster) until Fukuzawa helped him figure it out...

Damn, what a great series, as a person who did not want to read manga, for 6 years, I am very glad.
Rampo at 14, such a cutie..
To be honest, I have blunted the writing skill of reviews and comments, but the series is really good

From cute soldiers' faces to absolute psychological horror. P**DEC. How "good" it is to be reminded that Mori is a vile pedo-trash who is ready to do anything to achieve his goal and causes only violent hatred. Poor Yosano. NO wonder she hates him. He psychologically tortured and manipulated her, a child, until she reached her limit. And he still wants her for himself. An abomination.

This series, along with the fourth episode of this season, are the two best BSD series overall for me at the moment. SEIYU THE GOAT Yosano - Shimamura Yu, background, sound and OST, lighting&coloring are great. It's creepy how the soldiers' voices are gradually becoming more and more hopeless.

- You don't want people to die. And that's why you suffer so much. We need you because you have a kind heart. Ability doesn't matter, your kindness is what matters.

Rampo literally brings her to light during the battle between Fukuzawa and Mori. I love the way their conversation took place against the background of sunset (a recurring motif in the series). This not only highlights how he invited her into an organization that sits between "night" and "day"; but also recalls how sunsets are often used (in a broader sense, not just in BSD) to highlight changes. Rampo changed Yosano's life by inviting her to the agency.

Rampo and Fukuzawa. It's incredibly touching how Fukuzawa saves every member of the agency, even if they don't think they need it or deserve it.

Right now, Yosano is strong enough not to let the injury win. P L A H U 💔

Another thing I like about this season is that because the agency is in danger, we see why its members want to fight for it and what it means to them. May their luck turn, please...

Poor guys. Small ripples on the water after they decide to move on... I have a bad feeling about this. Atsushi doesn't know at all, it's good that Kyouka ran to him.

OST of the Hounds is very cool! They're funny, they look intimidating, but they're also silly and funny. But CHEWIE has the best appearance, of course! Goosebumps from his voice (Taniyama-san is a fire!) and uncontrollable smiling. But I don't know how well everything will turn out for the agency.
