+ Dynamism. From the very first minutes, we are thrown into the thick of events and action. Julius breaks into a vampire's pussy and crumbles fuckers, arms and legs. No talking, there will still be time for that!
+ Graphics. It is not worth dwelling on this. She's just good.
+ Blood, guts, shit! There will be no smeared face with a cigar or a black hole instead of a hand. You will be able to see everything in its full glory. The action is just great! I got a couple of visual orgasms per episode (° ° °)
+ A scene with vampires sucking the blood of dumb girls. "Let's raise our glasses!" I couldn't help but mention this scene, it really stuck in my memory.
+ "European identity". Perhaps it's worth clarifying. At least in the first episode, there were no cliches inherent in a typical anime: the characters scream to release accumulated pathos, do not shout out the names of techniques, there are no strange visual solutions, and the characters do not exceed the limit of their "superhumanity", which would fuck logic and physics into all the cracks, as well as there is no ubiquitous fan service. Simply put, anime resembles a Hollywood action movie transferred to Japanese animation. This is the kind of anime that I would recommend to "novice animists" who are not used to standard anime cliches.
What about the controversial issues:
- The characters' personalities are almost not revealed. More time was devoted to the plot and details for its further development. In general terms, it's clear that Fallon is a friendly guy, Phillip is a typical teenager, and Dorothea is... walking boobs? But that doesn't make them living characters. The main character may be charismatic, but his inability to work in a team and his recklessness are somewhat annoying. Such actions are justified, but still... I hope the character will develop further and get rid of this character trait, and the minor Persians will not be furniture.
Overall, the first one left a pretty good impression.
