Detroit 1-8-7

It's a pity that it wasn't renewed for season 2. The series is dark and damn good.

I really don't understand why it's only season 1. It's so coolly made that it gives you goosebumps.
The actors are simply magnificent, starting with Imperioli and ending with guest roles.
Everyone is in their place. And there was a huge reserve for the future!
The intern, Vic's affairs, Ariana's new partner, Fitch's relationship with his son and ex-wife (I think now she should find out why he left), reveal more about the lieutenant, she's a bomb aunt. Washington is just a sweetheart, and his family is sweet. It's clear that after this series, he got into Elementary, and it's pointless to regret, but the Daytona 1-8-7 project had potential and zest.
I liked that many episodes showed the history of this city, difficult, dark, creepy. And they showed how the city has changed and continues to change, and how in places it is completely dying.

It doesn't seem like anything special, just another police procedural, but how cool it was filmed!
The atmosphere is great, the characters are voluminous, the acting is great. It's just a pity that there's only one season :((

I got lucky. It's a very good series, although the plot is typical, but it's still interesting to watch.
