Overview
My name is Michael Westen. I used to be a spy. Until I got a burn notice, I was blacklisted. When you're burned, you've got nothing: no cash, no credit, no job history. You're stuck in whatever city they decide to dump you in. Miami. You do whatever work comes your way. You rely on anyone who's still talking to you. A trigger-happy ex-girlfriend... An old friend who used to inform on you to the FBI... Family too... if you're desperate... Bottom line? Until you figure out who burned you... you're not going anywhere.

This series is worth it, no matter how much you laugh and make fun of the first season (as it was with me). Sometimes it's drawn out and unpleasantly confusing, sometimes the characters make the stupidest mistakes, but this happens in all scenarios. With each season you will see how the actors' game grows. The views of the Miami neighborhood in each episode are simply amazing.
The humor is on top, and the whole atmosphere of the series is kind.
In the first series, the main character and heroine were annoying, but over time I became so imbued that now I can no longer imagine other actors for this role.
Yes, at times the plot resembles something already seen before and it seems that you can calculate what will happen next, but more often it makes you wonder how you would do in his place.
It was cool to hear the Russian speech without hesitation, and the camerawork, sound and explosions are generally on top.
Before watching the series, I read on one of the sites that the series is like a collection of tips for a successful person, I was skeptical about this. But you know, it really is! Everything that Mike does not voice over is simply realized and then comprehended by you, family relationships, relationships with friends, all these problems are displayed here.
I obviously liked that the series has a constant development of the plot, it was not boring to watch, as it usually happens with long series.
In general, this series is a good spy action with elements of comedy.
I definitely advise you not to stop at the first series.
I'll subscribe to every word.
I would like to add that I enjoyed watching this series for the first time about 5 years ago. I regretted that I hadn't seen him before.
The growth of the actors and characters is wonderful. Now I'm re-observing Fiona and her gorgeous outfits, sometimes on the verge of vulgarity, sometimes very elegant, and emphasizing all her advantages. Gabrielle Anwar is a gorgeous actress, and this is revealed with each episode and season.
Sam is actually my favorite. Basically, this actor is known and loved for his role as Ash Williams in everything related to the Sinister Dead, but for me he is forever Sam from the Black Mark. He's amazing here.
Michael Weston. It took me a while to love him. There is a certain aggressiveness in his appearance, squinting and grinning, which at first seem repulsive. But with each episode, I got into the character and his versatility. It was Michael's versatility, not Donovan's. By the end of the series, Michael seems to me to be one of the most beautiful, charismatic, sexy, attractive, attractive men. Because it's well written, filmed, and acted.
Michael's mom. When I watched it again, I began to notice details that I had missed before, and the actress Sharon Gless, who played Michael and Nate's mother, is incredible! Not only is she cooler than all of them combined in terms of awards and track record, but she is also a beauty. And the cunning in Madeline Weston's eyes, her eternal inventions and constantly having a cigarette in her hand is the most gorgeous image. I admire this woman!
Watch the series, absolutely. More than one episode, at least a dozen to seed. Get into it. Yes, they're shooting bright tinsel, cool shows, and comic book stunts right now. But the golden age of the series still fell at the end of the 90s and the noughties. This is when it comes to camera work, soulfulness, atmosphere, character development, and ideas (which are now mostly repeated).
Old TV shows are worth watching or reviewing.
