Overview
Lee Soo-jung is a travel agent who is seeking her good luck in Bali after a harsh and unforgiving childhood. She meets Jae-min, Kang In-wook, and Young-joo in Bali, three seemingly perfect people entangled in a triangle of love. When Lee Soo-jung finds herself back in Seoul, her desire for success leads her to seek Jae-min for a job, unwittingly setting off a course of events that further complicate the love triangle.
What Happened in Bali is a drama that reveals the inner materialistic desires of people. It reflects upon the sometimes ugly (but truthful) side of man where nothing matters more than money.

A gorgeous drama, despite its more than impressive 18-year-old age, looks in one go... an ambiguous story about people with their strengths and weaknesses, ambitions, resentments, jealousy and love, a story about emotions and how they prevail over reason...a story in which there are no guilty or guilty, about choice and its consequences, about rivalry, about cold calculation...but in the end, the feelings still take over.. It's a love story, because everyone has their own love story. The drama causes a lot of discussions and comments to this day, is this not proof that the story does not leave anyone indifferent. I would like to say "bravo!" to the screenwriters, because everyone will look at the story in their own way and draw their own subjective conclusions, but no one will remain indifferent. There are no guilty people here, there are no rightists here, there are just people whose destinies turned out to be closely linked. Relationships between people are a complicated thing ... The story may seem long-winded, but it's not...everything here is verified with manic precision, everything goes its own way - from a look, an act, to every emotion.. Such a different kind of love is shown here...and someone will tell you if it's love ...
Inson, who is only 23 here..Is it even possible to play LIKE THIS at 23? For me, his acting outweighed, I succumbed to his emotions, I drowned in them with him. But Jiseop's character is also good, he "painted" him the way he needed to be - outwardly cold, aloof, who experiences everything in himself...
..and this ending...which fits seamlessly into the story, but does not fit into my head. This is a dilemma that couldn't be any other way, but it's still a shock... this is the state when I knew that something had happened, but I didn't realize it so much, that it was this ... and this beautiful music in the whole drama, these songs that helped reveal the characters to the end ...
And this feeling of finality is in Bali...about Bali...
I love tragedies and this is a classic of the genre!
She would have focused on one person already, otherwise she would rush to one, then to the other. These two are also good, they act surprisingly synchronously - then both will touch the poor thing, then both will click on the nose. As a result, everyone suffers...
