I knew better than to review my childhood hit. If season 1 (especially the first half) has somehow gone down, despite the fact that there is no mafia in the mafia series, and only two Italians are among the criminals, and the mafia does not prevent the "organization" from controlling gambling, drugs and robberies, but this can be attributed to the decline of the mafia, although it has come and later. With dates, everything is not the same in the series, maybe the translators got it wrong, of course, but more on that later. The second season is just a horror, some Streets of Broken Lanterns 19 is just a masterpiece compared to "this". This is no longer a series about gangsters and cops, Mike Torello helps a Soviet pilot who escaped from the USSR to the free USA, in the very next episode in a free country, they refuse to serve a black man in a cafe, then Torello does not let a Chinese spy, whose father was killed, steal an atomic bomb... The Russians who attacked China after the Japanese!!!!!! And according to legend, her parents met during the war in 1938 in the USA... During which war? The Chinese woman is played by actress Charlotte Lewis with Irish, Chilean and Iranian roots, awesome, there were no Chinese women in the USA in the 80s? Ray Luca decides to quit crime, but SELLS the ATOMIC BOMB TO THE CHINESE, Carl!!!!!! In exchange for a FREE FLIGHT over their territory)))) Of course, the US government will ignore this fact altogether, it's just an atomic weapon, not a jewelry robbery. I don't know if I can watch it, but it's a pity, I killed the childhood heroes, it would be better not to watch them and they remained in my memory as cool Chicago cops from my memories. However, the 2nd season didn't seem to be shown in Russia... I can't listen to Del Shannon anymore(
