No more, but no less, there is still very little traditional fantasy on the screens. So you can look at it without high expectations, and most importantly, without comparing it with the original source due to its actual absence.
It was interesting to see the first "witcher", Eredin and Avallak'ha, but to tell the truth, I would have watched much more about the "Pairing" itself, and then they just said that "here are the planets, tyr-pyr, all live together." Well, that's cool, cho. I knew it without the show. I'll also mention Itlina — I liked the turn with her.
I would maybe watch the next season about Auberon, Eredin and the Wild Hunt, but I'm afraid they'll completely twist everything here, at least this season didn't have a primary source, come up with whatever you want. In short, it's an optional prequel, passable.
