Rating of seasons and episodes Этерна (2022)

Once, many years ago, I did not even dream (and at the same time dreamed) about the film adaptation of this cycle. Then the first books were published, with a well-thought-out detailed plot, convincingly written, ambiguous characters, and a world in which one could believe. Who knew that over the years the series would degenerate into an amorphous, meaningless narrative about nothing, which the author is unable to finish, or at least to continue with any interest, and which generates cadavers like "the second part of the third book of the third volume of the fifth novel of the cycle".
But since I always believe in the best, then maybe at least a screen incarnation will give us a more or less distinct and complete narrative?

Now specifically for the first part, without spoilers about the future. The plot of the first film covered about a quarter of the first novel of the cycle, "Red on Red". As for me, he copes with the task of briefly introducing the world, identifying two main storylines and presenting the main characters. Non-readers may have a different opinion, so it will be interesting to find out. Of course, there is something to find fault with, the epic battle is represented by a minor skirmish. Yes, there is a reservation that only the battle with the detachment covering the retreat is shown, but even then there could be more mass. The characters, at first glance, are close to the originals, as they are shown at the beginning of the cycle, or rather they have not had time to manifest themselves yet. Details about the world and the plot, of course, are extremely small so far, but two characters flashed in the frame, which appear in the books much later. But for the series, it may well be justified.
The catch, however, is that it looks like the sequel will be released very soon. I am not an expert in marketing strategies, but from the point of view of the viewer it looks strange.

@Masim8888: I read with pleasure this huge comment. Today I saw this series on Kinopoisk, I haven't read the book, there are no reviews on kinopoisk either, and here I got an idea of whether it's worth spending time watching this series or not. @Nog - well done for sharing his opinion in detail.

Nicely. The actors' acting spoils everything. Actors play like in a theater and not like in a movie and this is their main problem.
