Michael Lang seems to be trying to convince himself or is really blind. "I haven't heard of anyone being raped." 🤷🏻♀️ What are calls, news, investigations for you? "Everyone was having fun, and it got bad in the evening." Everything got bad on the first day. As in general, the organizers faced a sea of legal charges. The musicians are to blame for not calming the crowd, the women are to blame for undressing. Could it be the sun's fault that it was still hot? Everyone is to blame, but not you. You saved on cleaning, didn't put up enough toilets, took away food and water from people at the entrance and increased prices several times, even your security was purely suitable for a matinee, not for a festival. I wouldn't be able to stand a day. Before the first night, I would have already freaked out and gone home. I can't imagine what it's like to live three days in a hospital in the sun without food and water.

these orgies are amazing people, of course: the audience got assholes, and the musicians did not help to pacify the crowd, and the girls themselves undressed and thereby invited rape... It's very difficult to be an org! Why does no one appreciate their work!

But seriously, the awesome dock is short, intense, and fascinating. and with meaning: do not try to repeat the great, it is unique.

The unequivocal failure of orgies, the desire to make more profit and ignoring banal human needs led to a cat catastrophe.

I watched both documentaries: this one and the HBO one. Michael Lang is impossible... mmm... I don't remember if you can use such words here... the unfortunate son of a plague dog, let's just say. All, ALL, the three Woodstocks (69, 94 and 99) were huge failures.
Cher doesn't lag behind him, in general, and the audience brought themselves to such a state, and the girls themselves, apparently, insisted on sex. And the fire started by itself.
Zero safety, zero sanitation, zero water, a lot of drugs, a lot of sponsored beer — it would seem that what could go wrong?!

Modern festival organizers are just angels compared to them. Even McFarland 🤷🏻♀️

Interestingly, it was under Limp Bizkit that the madness began, but this did not happen with Korn, because Davis does not work particularly with the crowd, and Durst does it all the time, and of course the heat, the intrusive MTV policy and inflated prices worked.
