Tatyana Volkova is a private detective in the provincial town of Tarasov. Before embarking on a free-floating private investigation, she worked for some time in the local prosecutor's office. But routine work is not for an energetic and active woman. She prefers the interesting and sometimes dangerous work of an investigator. Tatyana has a mother who is scared to death for her daughter and never ceases to persuade her to give up her unwomanly business. But Volkova is relentless, because she loves her job, which she does with enthusiasm, quickly and clearly investigating the most intricate crimes.
