Overview
Nakajima Youko is your average somewhat timid high school student. One day, a strange man named Keiki appears before her, swearing allegiance. Before she could properly register what was happening, demon-like creatures attack Youko and her friends, after which they are pulled into a different world. A world unlike what she has ever known. Separated from Keiki, Youko and her friends must do whatever they can if they wish to survive in this new world.

Go back to before this genre became mainstream, if you will.
It's not a perfect series, but it's head and shoulders above most.
What's interesting is the attention to all the characters that occupy at least some place in the narrative. We are shown each of the story arcs in detail, demonstrating the fate of a particular character. They show everyone's strengths and weaknesses.
However, no matter how great this series is, there's a lot of tar in this barrel.
The music in the opening, despite the unique Chinese motifs for anime at that time, is not memorable. To be precise, this music is exactly what you imagine without listening in advance. The ending is standard J-pop, it's not bad, and probably of all the music in this anime, I liked it the most. There's not a lot of music in the series itself, and to be completely honest, I have to strain my memory very hard to remember if there was anything in the background (I'm not saying that I don't remember what the background music was at all).
But, as for me, the main disadvantage of the story was two points.
The first. The season ends with an arch that you really want to cram somewhere early because it looks too faded for the season finale. The previous arc of the rebellion was much better suited for this.
Second. The arch of the black Kirin was not completed. She was just abandoned in the middle.
I don't know what motivated it, but maybe they were hoping for a sequel. And to be honest, I'd like to see a sequel. If I understood those who read the novel correctly, then there is still plenty of material for the film adaptation.
I understand that this is just a dream, but let me dream a little.
This title is difficult to recommend. It's perfectly crafted and it seems to me that there is hardly a better isekai (Even unemployed, with all my love for him), but at the same time it will be difficult to watch for those who are not ready for serious isekai without jokes and the invincibility of the protagonist.
