@vin: I feel the same way. Apparently it's just that fewer people watched the Doyle case. Although it's a charming non-stressful series to watch with half an eye.

Have you looked at the ratings and decided to revive this sluggish, half-dead, as impotent as hell series?
Of course, the ending is intriguing, but it's unlikely to fix anything. I would be very surprised if the series is renewed.

@eternity888: It turns out that he not only starred, but is also the creator of both Doyles and St. Pierre. He was born and raised in Newfoundland. So they shouldn't remember Death in paradise, he just likes to shoot on his native islands. ))
