Overview

One day a man, Kaiba, wakes up in a broken room. He has no memories, only a pendant with a picture of an unknown woman. Outside of the room are grotesque floating electrical clouds of disjointed memories. Kaiba is suddenly assaulted, and escapes into space. He travels to various planets, encountering various people and retrieving his memories. Memories of an inconsistent and decaying world, of his own agony and of Niero, the woman in the picture.

I've been putting off studying for several years because of drawing, but somehow it turned out that I threw it on a tablet. The plot intrigued me from the first second. Stories where the body and consciousness live separately, memories are in chips, and for an irrevocably sold body you can feed a family, there is a whiff of cyberpunk, psychology, a parody of the future and very strong emotions.

The remnants of human consciousness are being thrown into space like garbage. Each episode is a story about the human essence and each story makes you cry. Over time, I realized why anime is drawn this way - the world has lost its true shape due to people chasing after artificial bodies, bodies that were seen in advertisements, which are now "fashionable" to wear. The natural form is valued only in price, but not in aesthetics. There was no other way to draw it. But the main theme of the series is affection. It's amazing how many social and philosophical topics have been raised in just 12 episodes!

I am seething with indignation that only 19 people have evaluated (and therefore most likely viewed) Kaiba on the Shelf! This series is many times more worthy than any online show. I've never experienced so many feelings and emotions in 12 episodes. There was a clear association with "The Alchemist: brothers", but the concentration of psychology is off the charts!

The music plays like on an amusement ride or in a box, like you're watching a puppet show. A theater that plays out stories with cuts from bodies and destinies... I want to talk endlessly about Kaiba, but I don't want to spoil it, otherwise the effect will not be the same. I can only say one thing for sure, Kaiba has once again proved to me that if a series has a high rating, then it's not for nothing!!!

A rich series. Sometimes, communicating with a silent being, the interlocutor tells what's on his mind, and it makes him feel better. Some sacrifice themselves, wanting to help their relatives, not even imagining what kind of cruel egoists they are. Cruelty towards people's souls and memories is rampant, and all for the sake of bodies and money, as symbolic. It's a pity that the cruel aunt realized so late, and it seems with the help of that device, that she had practically killed the Chronicle with her own hands. Pink boots...
