The entire plot revolves around writing. In my opinion, the creators should have taken the story in the direction where she actually invented everything: that there was never any agreement with her husband about an open relationship, that there were no investigations involving the students, that she was never truly interested in any Vladimir in real life, and so on.
In other words, they could have given us a finale centered on her brilliant talent as a writer—but instead it all ends up feeling just as underwhelming as the sex she spent the whole show fantasizing about.
At the same time, the romantic component is not particularly revealed and is weakly catchy. This does not allow us to rate the series too highly, although there are no regrets about the time spent, the length of the episodes is less than 30 minutes in this regard, it came in handy.
