Gordon's letter showed her crying with Ramona.😭
I didn't put anything on this project, I didn't expect anything useful at all, judging by the trailer, but what a miracle happened! Yes, the creators overdid the "Luke, I'm your father" trope and were somewhat unrealistic (a seventeen-year-old daughter flies to Thailand just by notifying her parent with a sticker on the front door?!), but all this is more than compensated for by the magnificent game cast! Ella Rubin and Amelie Hoferle give the level. I hope so much that they both will have a great future in cinema, it was good to see fresh faces with such potential.
I really want it to be renewed for a second season (that's selfish, just because it turned out very well, I don't want to say goodbye to the characters), although even if not, the series basically feels completed. The love lines are very cute and lively. The only thing is, Ella, of course, looked older than her serial guys, and she didn't pull much at 17, but that's okay.
Una is a beloved character, such a wise beauty bead, just like her little sister. I read that the actress will play Zelda in the film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, and we are waiting for that. Their breakup with Ramona was heartbreaking (perhaps because I myself had experienced something similar at the time).
Very sincere, warm, summery and touching, in general. Perhaps, recently, the best coming of age series (and there are a lot of them coming out)!
I'm sure I'll definitely review it next summer.
