Overview
The Westies takes place during the construction of the Jacob Javitz Convention Center on the Westies' home turf in Hell's Kitchen, which promises a financial windfall. Despite being outnumbered fifty-to-one by the Five Families of the Italian Mafia, the Westies' legendary brutality and cunning have given them the leverage necessary to share the spoils through a fragile détente. But internal conflict between the brash younger generation and the old-school leadership threatens to set a match to this powder keg, which will sweep the Westies into the FBI's ever-deepening investigation into the Italian mafia.

Mickey was unlucky, the Italians caught him after all. And all because of the stupid bracelet, well, in principle, it's his own fault. There was no point in flashing stolen trinkets right away.
Now it probably looks like he took the jewelry with Vincent. 🤣
The cast is powerful. There was no doubt about the top level of J.K. Simmons and Titus Welliver from the beginning. I would like to mention Hamish Allan-Hadley separately. The actor is not the most famous, but in Daredevil he is particularly remembered for the role of scumbag Powell, and here he was entrusted to play John Gotti and he does a great job. Cool is able to portray slippery unpleasant characters.
I will watch the sequel with interest. MGM surprised with a pretty high-quality project.
