@Ginervsekupil: The point of the scene is that Monica is Ross's sister, and friends are not allowed to date friends' exes or sisters. And so Chandler forgave Ross so that Ross would forgive Chandler in the future.

Monica and Chandler are the perfect couple. Perhaps it will be included in my top of the best couples of cinema.
I adore them with all my heart. And most of all, I like that they really work on the relationship and support each other. No one breaks anyone, does not bend anyone. It's just a miracle.

This is a particularly wonderful moment when Chandler is not laughing at the boss's joke. He listened to Monica's words and made an effort.
