I love the way these stories end. So far there are three episodes and three laconic rather unusual denouements.

I didn't understand, or I didn't look closely: did the person who helped the drunk also throw him a gun? Who is he? He helped the drunk get his life back together, and how did he help the other dude, like he didn't let him kill the drunk?

The conclusion reads: "Mr. Henry Fate helped one person to get out of the pit, and the other will not fall into it, because Fate can work like that.. * in a mysterious voice * in the twilight zone"

It's quite unexpected to hear music from the Russian folk song "From behind the island on the Strezhen" in a series about a western in an American TV series of the 60s.

The young shooter at the end is Doug McClure. The character from the Simpsons, Troy McClure, mocking the image of an actor-craftsman from the 50s, whose time has passed and he plays in everything -is based on him. I thought the similarity was limited to the surname, after all, Troy is a collective image, but after looking closely, he is directly copied from Doug!
