Very old-fashioned, very mournful in places, full of self-repetitions. Entertainment value is low, artistic too, but nostalgic and historical - definitely available. It was often frankly painful to watch, because the scriptwriters' love for maximum drama in an overly repetitive plot is attacked by a villain who is actually either good at heart, or an old acquaintance of Duke, who eventually either heroically sacrifices himself or dies of accidental injury. the third repetition was even more annoying than the other absolutely childish series. There is no normal end-to-end plot, there is nothing like character development, and there are no special conflicts within the team either... an extremely children's cartoon, in short. I don't even know what I expected. NEVERTHELESS, in the last third, something significantly changes and appears in the series... directing? In some plots, a slight tension begins to be felt, quite interesting (or at least beautiful by the standards of '76) set moments arise, as well as quite decently animated scenes, the plot somehow hobbles from series to series - I suddenly became interested and as a result I was more or less satisfied. I can't say that it was really worth it, but I got rid of the nostalgia for the Grendizer, I threw the main topic out of my head, now I just have to wait for the rebut. That's what's going to happen to him, it's really interesting, because in this old version there are still enough interesting ideas and characters so that you can squeeze a *really* decent plot shorter out of them. Although the character designs will be worse there, of course.
