Somehow it turns out stupidly: * what does it mean "you can only survive by joining the strong" - or you could have warned your own, not kill them, and without the effect of surprise, the ninja would have coped. * Japanese samurai can't handle ninjas, but the English captain can * Why didn't Mariko move away from the door when she heard about the fuse? Why sacrifice yourself without checking that the escape route is open? So why were Anjina and Mariko invited to Osaka? How would killing or capturing them affect Toranaga? And shouldn't he have been brought before the Council?
