@haydee: Well, then it turned out that it was a lie, and that he found these terrorists, and not the other way around. Apparently, he somehow got out? I'll assume that when he got to his UFO, the black muck was going to fly away on it, and Kraychek caught on the side and jumped off on the street. Unless, of course, the Smoker allowed the UFO to fly away...
@baldarek: It seems to me that Krajicek was released by the Smoker himself. Fox eventually realized that Krachek was (allegedly) being used, and he was using them. But the fact that Krajicek finally came to the Russian, whom the Smoker promised to get, suggests that the first one did not quit working for the "shadow government".
And of course, the bad Kraychek turned out to be a Russian, who is an American in the first generation. I thought I was going to die laughing when he started swearing in Russian... but no, the most fun came at the end when Krajicek started talking. And these horsemen with whips... America, what are you doing?! You'll die without any particularly tricky weapons! Are we Russians really such a global evil? Was it my imagination, or do not all Russian speakers there have a non-Russian accent? I wonder where they filmed Russia so picturesquely? Back in Canada?
I support it) but it's not the Russians who are evil, but our system. After all, in the end it all comes down to the difference in systems. North Korea is evil, and most of the inhabitants are probably very good people. And so it is everywhere... Including with us.
@eligio: You're talking nonsense. We are "evil" simply because we threaten the world domination of the United States. China is following us. Or already on an equal footing. Although the system there is completely different. And they got on this list not because of her at all, but after the global production of all sorts of technological pieces was concentrated there. Don't you understand the principles and techniques of American propaganda in the 21st century at all? Do you still believe that they really defended their country in Afghanistan, Vietnam and Syria? From whom? From a bunch of Bedouins? On a foreign land? And then listen to their propaganda, considering their own state to be evil? Do you even realize that you're sawing at the branch you're sitting on? Do you want to surrender in the USA? Do you think it will be as satisfying in the colony as it is there? Although there are enough people in distress, social problems, etc. And about the fact that freedom of speech has already perished under the screams of offended Negroes and I am already silent, it is enough not to listen to slogans, but to look at the facts of what is happening there now. Although it generally happens everywhere. A well-fed billion has eaten and is destroying itself. Do not separate yourself from the state, the planet and humanity. It's better to set a good example, take care of yourself, the benefit of the system is quite possible, unlike North Korea, and if everyone does the same, there will be no need to look for those responsible for the fact that "the poor because they are bad, and the bad because they are poor."
@draugtaur: well, then, they found a normal teacher of the Russian language for Nicholas, and the actor himself learned the phrases well, and not to leave off and blunder. And it just warms the soul :)))) And the name Nicholas, suddenly he has some Slavic roots, xs. In general, mimimi.
who could possibly howl in horror at the Russian 90s, this is not fun in the United States with an economic boom. although of course yes, it looks a little funny.
It is always surprising when FBI special agents participate in assault operations in the role of ordinary special forces. I'm talking about the beginning of the series.
Oh, how nice it is to see a young Laurie Holden after all) and Russia is just like real, especially the Russian license plates on the car pleased. Although a random prisoner in the next cage, perfectly balking in both Russian and English looks far-fetched.
@hlas_of_my_nick: Well, maybe the dude knows English. Maybe some kind of translator or something related to politics/international business, or whatever. Not all prison inmates are just criminal bosses and gangsters without education.
@SophietheValiant: Well, yes, well, deep in Siberia, in the late 90s, there was a man who spoke English fluently in the cell next to Mulder. Oh, how convenient =3
I almost feel sorry for Krajicek, they've been bullying him all series... Oh, yes, he's an unscrupulous murderer. "The asshole is not good," loool. I didn't understand why everyone forgot about the handworm from the beginning of the series, who dropped a bottle with a parasite.
Krasnoyarsk in November and without snow, The guys need to work on the details. Although there were a couple of Russian-speaking actors, it is already pleasing
This series is so crazy, finally, SKINNER is all such a dump of a head, Kraychek got his ass kicked, well, that's what he needs, not enough chocolate, the Russians are villains again, well, and in other things, as always... However, it is not clear how Alex got free, really, last time he was in ... the basement-bunker-xs where, and he vomited this black biak. The final episode, I want more.
@SophietheValiant: Russian Russian is also cool that Krajicek can speak Russian normally, well, more or less, and also that they took real Russian-speaking actors for the roles of Russian characters. Without any abyrvalg and ololo there.
Well, I'll note another joke, about which the others did not say anything - is that there was a merc instead of a UAZ, and even with the Moscow 77 region 😏 is this like a guy driving them from Moscow?) Yes, the FBI would be impoverished for such a taxi driver 😂
@eligio: They may not even realize that our region is determined by the number. They just found something on the Internet, printed it out, glued it - and thanks for that, they couldn't even bother with it =))
she started laughing after Mulder's phrase "I'm going to Krasnoyarsk" and became hysterical at "This is the Gulag." God, what a scream. Russian Russian is a big plus for the creators of the work, but the fact that the actors are mostly Russian, and non-Russians quite understandably speak Russian.
And Mulder and Scully are wearing a special forces uniform :D As far as I remember, the last time we saw Krajicek locked in a bunker and dripping with black oil, or am I mistaken? I wonder who let him out and what he's been doing all this time? I like that Mulder gets carried away from time to time somewhere beyond the borders of the United States, to other countries. It feels like there is some kind of planetary scale of the conspiracy.
Another moment surprised me.. Mulder and Krajicek go to hell knows where it is unknown how far into the forest and they don't even have some kind of backpack with food / some useful things like a flashlight, a knife, xs what else?)
Oh, what a series. Krajicek is like Spider-Man on the balcony. It is still not clear how he got out, because the room was securely closed. It seemed that the capture was somehow strangely carried out at the beginning, even though so many people, but they almost missed the bead. I also don't understand how Mulder brought Krajicek to Russia. It seemed that he was really going to leave him in the car and took him with him only when he realized that he spoke Russian. Russian Russian by the way, this is the first American movie where a normal Russian - Krajicek, as the son of immigrants, speaks with an accent, and okay, Russians speak Russian, not with a Polish accent. It's just amazing. Russia is shown somehow cringingly, of course 😂
Oh , I almost choked when they said about Krasnoyarsk , I live in Krasnoyarsk , I was born 50 km from the Tunguska meteorite . Is Scully coming to us? Saving Mulder
I had already forgotten how big cranberries were in the X-Files, so that it was like the GULAG)) and even periods in Russian speech (either in this or in a couple of other episodes) "comrade" in the late 90s
Discussion: Season 4, Episode 8 Join the Discussion
65and he just told the driver there? or where? and he replied, just a psychic!!
- Warm yourself with dreams..
Was it my imagination, or do not all Russian speakers there have a non-Russian accent?
I wonder where they filmed Russia so picturesquely? Back in Canada?
Yes.
In general, mimimi.
, so it was a little funny to watch the episode
I didn't understand why everyone forgot about the handworm from the beginning of the series, who dropped a bottle with a parasite.
The final episode, I want more.
God, what a scream.
