Here it is, the standard character development scheme of a character. In the first two episodes, Dirk seemed to me to be an extremely unpleasant person. Arrogant, smug and selfish. Sometimes he behaved just like a pig both in relation to others and to his partner. But already in the third series there is a disclosure from a completely different side. I really liked it. And for me, there are more similarities with Sherlock than with the American Dirk, I don't see any connection with the second one at all. It's very funny that at the end of the American they just opened an agency, and at the end of the British the agency was closed :))
