@sheppel: As with the TV series "Revolution" (2012-2014), after closing, the ending of the series was released in the form of a comic book. Although I read that in the early stages of the development of the second season, there was an idea to tie up the release of the film "Terminator Salvation" (2009). But in the end it was not implemented. But still, the release of Terminator Salvation influenced the closure of the series, I think. Two unrelated stories in the Terminator universe, coming out at the same time, could take the audience away from each other. We expected that Terminator Salvation would collect a good box office, and the sequels would be filmed.

It was a good series, even despite the simple special effects and sometimes skipping stupidity (like the married terminator). The actors are chosen just fine, although Sarah now reeks of Cersei very much, especially when she furrows her nose viciously. But Lena Headey still fit into the role better than Sarah the mother of Drakonnor. And of course Summer is gorgeous. And of course, it is also worth noting the many references to the original films, it's just like a balm for the soul.
It would be better if the third season was filmed instead of genesis (

Where, of course, no one knows yet (well, except for that "good" red-haired robot, part-time soloist of Guano Apes), where he has yet to make a name for himself with military merit and eventually lead all the resistance, he will also meet (-il) (damn these time loops) his soulmate, who is killed much later and in her image is sent a Terminator, which he catches and reprograms, then sends himself back to the past. A great ending to the season. :) I would really like John to find Riley in the future as well, and no one would send her to the past to die.

I read on fandom that the eel that merged with Weaver was the key to time travel. And partly because of this, it was kept separately. They write that this statement can be heard in the comments to the series on the DVD edition of the series

The average series eventually turned out. Yes, there are good moments and good episodes, but there are also a lot of silly moments and boring filler episodes. The main storyline is somehow crumpled. The main drawback of this series is the excessive bathing in the bright times of still living humanity, the creation of new branches in the journey of the Connors. Sometimes I fell asleep, but I also woke up. There were interesting and even very unusually interesting episodes from the Terminator universe. Everything went to waste when, over the last 2.5 episodes, there was a change in the rhythm of the series and its hasty conclusion. It looks like a piece of script that has been crumpled in your fist and thrown away like dice. What's in the visible areas is included in the script, very torn. It is worth paying tribute that those very spawned branches tried to touch and complete as much as possible through the red thread of the plot. In the non-minority, these are the murders of their participants. Speaking of murders, Charlie didn't have to be killed at all, it doesn't affect anything! Not the apocalypse, not John, who's going to lose Derek, not Sarah, who doesn't give a damn after all she's been through.
But I enjoyed watching this series from 2025, there is a kind of lampiness and softness in the postproduction, as if you are also looking into some kind of your past, when the Internet has not yet filled the world to the ground, people are wary of using push-button phones, and the Internet is not protected from the word at all.
