Did the creators of the series fly off the rails at the end of the second season, or did they just want to arrange the most powerful cliffhanger in the history of police procedural?
First, they arrange a two-part episode about an epidemic in which one of the team members dies, and immediately after it is an episode 1) about a serial maniac 2) the first imprisoned criminal of the main character, 3) in which, apparently, another team member dies. This, guys, is very powerful. And tragic.
Damn, I feel sorry for Peter! (especially if you've already read somewhere that he won't be in the third season) I loved watching them with Megan so much... There is no one else to ship (despite Dani or Aiden).
In general, the series is cool! The silence of the lambs reminded me. Cool season, in general, I really loved these characters (I swallowed one episode after another, I couldn't stop). It's even a pity that there are only 13 episodes ahead.

Или когда маньяк написал ему с телефона Меган, Питер заподозрил неладное?

Разумеется, Питер понял, что что-то произошло и вернулся. И да, Бишоп ушёл в "Тайные связи" из этого сериала. Совмещать съёмки было бы невозможно, т.к. "связи" снимали в других локациях. И роль, очевидно, ему там больше понравилась. Он играл ведущую роль в последнем сезоне сериала и стал парой для ГГ.
