It was said about the old detectives that the man retired, and the woman transferred to another state and now works for the FBI, but not a word about Megan's lover...
I also think that we started the third season well. After the second one, there was a fear that they would merge in the first episode. Of course, there are already a lot of replicas of themselves, but still cheerfully so :)
I was so hoping that Peter hadn't died after all, but just passed out... That the writers just wanted the audience to wait for the third season, where he would be alive and well... but no.. I really enjoyed the start of the season. And in general, I really like the double episodes in this series... Somehow they open up more or less...
I loved Peter very much and their friendship with Megan. I miss him very much. And the Dietary Supplement. It's so strange that we lost as many as 4 heroes before the start of season 3, why? Dani, Peter, Bud, Sam... There are not enough of them. But the series is still good.
4 series in a row with unusual investigations, in my opinion, is too much. I liked the series because of the awesome untwisted plot. I hope it will continue in the spirit of the first season.
I hoped to the last that Peter would stay alive. I don't understand the creators of the series: how can you even merge half of the main characters at the beginning of season 3? He is, of course, the last, but most likely just because of the dropped ratings after the loss of loved ones. :/
The creators of the series, where did you go so fast, demons? They would have slowed down... A two-part episode, the season finale and again a two-part episode - too much epic.
There are a lot of familiar faces at once: - the new forensic investigator was played by Erin Cahill (The Pink Power Ranger from the season of Time Force), it's a damn shame that she quit and didn't stay permanently - the nurse, an assistant plastic surgeon, was played by Annie Verschingh (Salvatore's mom from "The Vampire Diaries", Leslie Dean from Marvel's "Runaways" and most importantly, Dr. Kelly Nieman from "Castle", this fact alone from the very first frame with her participation leads me to think that the main killer in in this double episode, it's her) - Megan's ex-lover and new partner, the policeman, apparently was played by the same dude who played Christopher Chance in a more modern series about a Live Target. I haven't watched it myself, but I've seen the posters.
And even during the interrogation of a plastic surgeon, for the first time in the official Russian dubbing, I heard a voice that was familiar to the goosebumps. Vadim Romanov, voiced Rumplestiltskin in the official Russian dubbing of "Once upon a Time in a Fairy Tale".
@Kostyurik: I highly recommend "Live Target" - a wonderful series, only also unfinished. However, this does not prevent me from reviewing it sometimes.
@booker: this new partner-former lover is played by Mark Valley, he has one of the main roles in Boston Lawyers, he has also appeared in several CSI series. And to continue your list of familiar faces, there's also Richard Burgi, aka Brooke's father from One Tree Hill and one of Susan's husbands from Desperate Housewives.
Against the background of my attempts to compare "SPT" and "Bones", I tried to ship Megan and Peter to the last. And damn it, it's cruel😭 Peter was my favorite character after Kate, and I truly loved him. I sat up until night, watched the second season, thought, well, okay- here's the last episode and sleep, as a result, the season ends with Peter being wounded, and I hoped to the last that I would open the next season- and he is alive, maybe he will be retired, maybe he will be in a wheelchair, since the killer For example, the spine was grazed And he's just killed and that's it I don't even know if I want to watch the rest of the season anymore. ☹️☹️☹️🥺🥺🥺
So, okay, I overcame my resentment and watched this episode, and with it the next one. Still, it's worth watching the series to the end, in my opinion, an interesting idea for the current season, and I even resigned myself to the absence of old characters, and the appearance of Megan's old boyfriend pleased me, it's interesting to watch their communication🙃
After watching episode 1 of season 3, I realized that with the departure of Peter, Bud and Sam, the series lost its charm, it was a pity the team was cool.
the new detectives look quite interesting to themselves, I am very glad that the old forensic experts remained. I miss Peter so much, and I was hoping so much that he and Megan would be brought together next season...
Damn, I'm sorry for Peter. Why was it removed? I hoped that Peter would survive after all and he and Megan would be together, they looked good, there was chemistry-calm Peter could make Megan listen to himself and others, they complemented each other well. Bud is also missing, he had a certain charm. Tommy didn't like it, somehow he didn't come in. His partner is no good either.
I'm saddened by Peter's death, and I'm very sad that I won't see Bud's ulcer and Sam's teasing anymore.
But the new Persians are quite interesting, but it's not clear what connects them and why Tommy returned. Where is that landscape designer Megan or that FBI sheep?
I immediately realized from the episode that the nurse was involved in the case. It was necessary to take these threads somewhere, and who, if not the nurse, had access to them?

and this Charlotte is such a crazy one...
I'm not happy with the forensic investigator
