The actress gets to play a role of 2a different characters and that's what's interesting to watch.

We were just shown 2 different people, with different habits, characters, appearance!!! even the color of the hair, but with one, roughly speaking, name (name). WE were not shown the most interesting thing - the GROWTH of the character, this is both outraging and annoying, and it does not matter who plays better - Anastasia or Beret, it is important that these are 2 different people, and they play the heroine in different ways.

But in general, the series is terribly stretched, the series last a very long time, and in the series the plot lasts for a long time, too, like rubber teeth.
