When you watch a series that is based on a book or a movie, you can't help but compare it with the original source. And then everything is very bad. The pilot is weak, all the storylines are predictable, the main characters are some kind of blockheads and not at all interesting. It didn't go with humor either, for the whole series I liked only one joke and that was almost at the very end. In a good way, the series will be closed soon and very soon.

I usually give the series a chance and even if the pilot didn't come in, I watch another episode, but not in this case.

Personally, I liked it. They took only the general essence - the partners are a nigger and a Chinaman, i.e. an African-American and a citizen of the special administrative region of the People's Republic of China of Hong Kong. Crumpled up, they retold the first part of the original, and then, I sincerely hope, they will go in another no less funny way.
