I don't even know what outcome I expected after meeting with the Cluster. Somehow everything was too easy. And I don't understand why the gems went to deal with Malachite when a Cluster here could blow up the entire planet. Even the destruction of Malachite would not compare to this.
@Crystal_Wizard: The cluster did not manifest itself at that time (eh?), at least no more than usual, but Malachite was an active threat at that time. If they had known that the Cluster would start hatching in a couple of hours (where is your vision of the future, Garnet?), of course their priorities would have changed.
@Crystal_Wizard: Peridot "knows everything there is to know" about the Cluster and therefore could talk about tremors based purely on theoretical knowledge about the process of Cluster birth. But the tremors at the beginning of the series were quite real and came from Malachite.
