The ending covered the whole boring middle, Gorgeous! I was confused, the "grandfather" whom she still failed, did not look older than her, although it is clear from the memories that he was decently older than her :)

The moment with the police is gorgeous, and the music is perfectly matched. Jay outsmarted everyone, I did not expect such a turn, although I was sure that he would not give up grandma) I think he will reveal himself even better in the second season.
Ellen Barkin is a wonderful actress, Smurf evokes such different emotions, from contempt for how she treats her son, to admiration when she can make a person tell the truth with one look, and manages to manage such a horde, and find an approach to everyone)

The only normal episode of the entire season. Pope is still the only interesting character - at least he was revealed at the end. In general, all this could fit into 6 episodes, because the first 8 episodes are trampling on the spot, an abundance of unnecessary scenes.
I understand Jay is going to destroy the family from the inside. No wonder the name of the series is like that.

Starting from the moment when the detective with the wiretap appeared, I expected that either Jay would turn over the family, than fuck logic to me, and the series would fade out in the end, or that there would be a denouement in the style of the Sons of Anarchy in the end. I'm just excited about the series. Very much like the Sons of Anarchy, the intensity, the characters and ... a mom. Smurf, like Gemma, causes both disgust and admiration at the same time.

IT CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR "SONS OF ANARCHY"
Indeed, a kind of mix of "Sons" and "Shameless" (Wells is felt, the manner of shooting, everyone is always naked, mats-peremata, bed scenes and an abnormal family).
Smurf-Gemma is a strong female character who evokes both respect and contempt. The main excuse for life is that we are a family, everything is for the sake of the family. Even the murder of Kat (albeit by the hands of Pope) is almost identical to the murder of Tara in "Sons".
Kat-Tara is the girl of the "main" son of Smurf, who is desperately trying to tear her boyfriend away from this criminal family and live with the kids in a country house. It's a pity for both, because in fact they were not going to hand over anyone, but they were killed as traitors.
Baz-Jax-here the comparison is based on snot, of course, keeps. But if you look at it this way, he is a promising son with big plans and many paths (although the Base is oh so far away from Jax, at least for now), trying to build his family. Although Jax's ingenuity was more transferred to Jay, and his appearance to Craig xD
But who is individual, so it's Pope. An interesting character, their dialogue with the Smurf in the kitchen, is probably the best moment of the series for me.

By the end, the series was rocking, unless of course you find fault with the details. The robbery is on top, but it absolutely stands out from the general narrative. Well, these worthless junkies can't plan this, much less execute it perfectly. Because absolutely everything they do in the series, they do through the ass.
