@launchpad: The creators of the series have said more than once in interviews that one of the main themes of the series is depression. In addition, depression is not something that can be easily identified in someone and directly point a finger at it. But this series is really the best depiction of depression I've ever seen. In many ways, it is precisely because the screenwriters do not take a definition from the dictionary and follow it verbatim, as most of those who try to uncover this topic do (when they take a list of symptoms and force them through the entire film). Hell, one screensaver in this series is worth a lot.
@Nerve33: I spent two years on antidepressants prescribed by a doctor, and sometimes I have to take them in a short course to prevent a recurrence of the disease. As a person who has experienced the delights of depression for himself, I advocate a clear definition of this disease and oppose profanity, which allows healthy people experiencing the usual problems of life for a healthy person to declare themselves depressed in order to receive attention and sympathy, which in turn forms a negative attitude of society towards real patients and confuses those who He is getting sick and would like to seek help. I have not read any of the interviews of the creators and am not interested in their opinions on depression, but I can say with confidence that all the types presented in this series reflect completely healthy people with their own individual characteristics, living a full and very bright life. The negative aspects of life - stress, crises, mistakes, losses - are also life, it has nothing to do with the disease.
@launchpad: Well, don't tell me, I've been on antidepressants on a regular basis for three years now, I have an anxiety-depressive disorder and I understand well, like you, what depression is. And Bojack is definitely dancing somewhere on the borderline between depression and non-depression. It's very similar to what happens when you don't drink medicine for a long time and you start having an influx, it's not really depression, but it's not a healthy thing either. And certainly Bojack should go to a therapist.
@launchpad: Depression can be the result of dramatic experiences, such as the loss of a loved one, a job, or a social position. In such cases, we are talking about reactive depression. It develops as a reaction to an external event, a situation. According to some theories, depression sometimes occurs when the brain is overloaded as a result of stress, which may be based on both physiological and psychosocial factors. So fuck off and don't be boring.
@Gehirn: The writers obviously want us to think that this is his daughter. Otherwise, what's the point of this scene? Well, whether it's true or not, we'll find out next season.
@Gehirn: Of course, it's not in 2020 to write all this. But yes, a couple of episodes ago, BoJack said that he had given money for abortions in the past and that he hoped that they were used for their intended purpose. But he was so cute when he took care of the baby seahorse.
The most depressing, but very cool season! I liked all the episodes without exception, the ending is so generally a masterpiece. Well, plus a good start for the next season in the form of a potential daughter of Bojack. I'm thrilled.
How ingeniously the screenwriters touch the viewer's feelings! The season matched the mood. After all, this is not just a drug-addicted cartoon about a horse, for me it's a way to figure myself out...
@biba: I wouldn't say that the universe limits anything here. It seems to me that BoJack is one of the most humane characters that exists in the series (despite the fact that he is more horse than man, or more man than horse?).
I really like that there is no perfect character in the series, everyone makes mistakes. And BoJack, with a vulgar and sometimes cynical view of life, which he periodically tries to resist, reveals the egocentricity of many people
The last season is so depressing and at the same time beautiful that it is impossible to break away. Everyone will find something of their own in these stories, their ups and downs, mistakes and unfulfilled opportunities that keep you awake and cause a slight melancholic smile in the morning. I hope next season will be even better and deeper.
It's sad to see how characters disappear from the screensaver (as well as from BoJack's life) with almost every next episode.. Especially Todd and Princess Carolyn.
Damn, the macaroni disaster and the urgent need for colanders and "machines with incredible strength by swimmers, for example, sacks" - made my day :D colanders finally showed themselves in action!
@albinka_: I was also delighted with this moment! it all reminded me of the situation with the colliding planes in breaking bad There, too, the whole season was so technically brought to a plane crash, as here with all these colanders, taxi service
Usually, when you watch TV shows, you are waiting for a new season, you are glad that there will be more. Watching this series, I want everything to end well as soon as possible
An incredible cartoon... with its sometimes absurd humor, realistic experiences of the characters.. The music is often made to match the picture... and there are so many references that I don't always notice...
Sarah Lynn: When I started watching this series, I didn't think it would break my heart like this every second episode And most importantly, the series is only growing every season
Everything has already been said above, but I can only agree with a sad look and a lowered head, thinking about all the shit that happened in my or my loved ones' lives
10/10

There are no forgotten secondary lines in this cartoon, all guns are firing or still firing
