Discussion: Season 3, Episode 5 Join the Discussion
156The series has become familiar and cozy due to the fact that the music of Angelo Badalamenti is now used in the scenes. I hope that with each episode of the soundtrack there will be more and more.
Cooper seems to be slowly waking up. It's not for nothing that he doesn't always repeat himself after people and remembers that he's actually an agent.
5 out of 5.
Is Amanda Seyfried Shelly's daughter? I really enjoyed the moment with her in the car to the music.
And there's some kind of fast-paced guy in the bar, kind of very angry and nasty.
If you have such problems, then download VLC media player (an absolutely free program), it has the ability to speed up playback at least 3 times without distorting the sound, just increasing the tempo. I turn on 1.5x on Twin Peaks and watch the episode in half an hour and nothing is delayed - the fighting series turns out to be dynamic.
Anyway, I recommend this player to everyone, all 40+ minute series look much more interesting, especially the walking dead (aka Sedentary Chatterboxes).
We put 2x mode in PotPlayer, everything is just fine now!!!
And how many cameos)
everything is great, of course, but I want more dynamics =(
And finally, the heroine of Amanda Seyfried's beloved was shown in the frame)
In the morning, you discuss with your colleagues: "Guys, Lynch is awesome."
PS: I would have thought about it myself if my wife had crawled in with half a mile of greenery! )))
PS: The rest of the story is supposed to be like that! It's Lynch!))
Already at the stage of exchanging 5 dollars. It is clearly noticeable that the person
is incapacitated ... perhaps he is simply lost, perhaps they are looking for him..And what does the cashier do?With pain and sympathy in his eyes, he gives out a cup of change and pushes Dougie into the hall.
Then there's more-the slot machine is giving out jackpots one by one-the administration, instead of urgently closing the institution under the pretext of checking fraud and malfunction of the machines, is stupidly staring at this armageddon
As a result, when an obviously quietly insane person is about to leave quietly without claiming to win, they catch up with him and literally cram the money
in...it was not for nothing that the manager was beaten and thrown out))))
, and everyone's used
to it. There's a bum (Hey, Mr. Jackpots!) She was playing nearby, no one said a word to her.
Therefore, the wife grumbles without malice and helps.
It's hardly the same here, but in 2h01 the situation was actually much more neglected, at least they notice that shit is happening))
bands that perform at the Bang Bang bar are listed in the credits :)
Just look at what we're eating right now.
I know what I'm going to eat, I know the ingredients. I just read them on the box, in fact, I read them between the lines. What is hidden in these toaster wafers? Muffins? In that frozen chicken? The poison! Deadly poison! That's what's in there! And what awaits you? Cancer! Leukemia! Autoimmune diseases! Pulmonary embolism! Warts! Psoriasis! Eczema! A heart attack! Where are the cops when you really need them? Anorexia. Obsession with the perfect body. Toxins in microbes, toxins in bacteria, toxins in the environment! Our air, water and land, the soil itself, our food! Our bodies are poisoned! Poisoned!
You must see, hear, understand, and act.
We all live in shit, friends. It's time to dig out of it.
ps: it was interesting to beat the "transition to Bob". 😈
I wonder how the "old Twin Peaks" both helps and harms the new
On the one hand, whatever the drawbacks, fans of the series will be watching.
On the other hand, the new Twin Peaks is constantly being compared to the old one...quite often not in favor of season 3.
But if the new Twin Peaks were a separate film, it would have a large number of fans, because it is original, unusual, strange -Lynchian in general, but not for everyone, for a narrower circle of viewers.
That's the case when new characters are even more interesting to watch...
:)
It just stung right at the mirror meeting. I didn't think I'd miss Bob, even though the actor was amazing.
I admire Sheriff Frank Truman, a true man-fuck XD "I can't keep an eye on a bucket all day! "Should I buy a bigger bucket?" she screams, and he answers her with such Budd calmness that it's time to think that the guy invented Novopassit. Why does Lynch have so many hysterical women? .. Every second one is the same. And always blonde.
An interesting thought at the top was that everyone reacts so calmly to the eccentricities of Daggy Cooper, because in modern society even close people sometimes don't care about each other. There's a lot of truth in this, but it's even worse: not only don't we care, sometimes we deliberately close our eyes, ignoring problems, because it's easier to force a person into a car than to find out what's wrong with him. All for the sake of our mental comfort, yeah. "Damn good coffee!" references, references, I love it when Lynch throws them out from the bottom of his heart. The red-haired girl from his office is beautiful, and he's just a local lightman now. It's touching with the statue, and for some reason I'm sure it's a longing for the sheriff... Crying McLachlan is my God.
James Belushi and Robert Knepper are straight classic gangsters, the latter in general in the role of a filthy bastard already as in his own skin.
It's a good thing the kid didn't get hurt, otherwise I almost had a heart attack. He plays great, by the way, he just naturally conveyed the horror.
My dear cafe, I miss you! Peggy Lipton is cosmic for her age, Amanda Seyfried is a bunny, it's very ironic that she follows her mother's fate and blindly follows a guy who promises mountains of gold and gives nothing. Well, hints about Laura are not bad.
If Briggs died so cruelly, it's sad... But maybe it will bring Cooper back to normal.
The years have no control over Nadine, she is very good.
The manic boy in the bar is too manic. I don't like ostentatious people.
It's interesting how Lynch plays everyone off: he dribbles mysticism and incomprehensibility, then gives it with a slide seasoned with fiction, then carefully plays on nostalgia, and then hands over the beloved melodrama in the style of "Twin Peaks". I've pleased everyone for five episodes, you rascal. It's a little boring for me, but it's still something to think about.
Could the attention on the statue's shoes be related to the fact that in the first season Mike was a shoe salesman, Leo's old shoes had a cassette tape, and the new ones had drugs?
Well, besides the fact that Cooper's shoes didn't plug into the wall outlet.
An interesting reference to the film: in the film, the sheriff, to whom an agent comes to investigate the first murder (before Laura), has a victory poster (he bent a poker there). The agent looks at him (there is also a fight in the additional scenes).
Here Cooper enters the boss's office and looks at a poster depicting a young boss performing as a boxer.
I didn't really understand, did Tammy discover that the double's fingerprints were Cooper's inverted fingerprints? Why hadn't anyone discovered it before her?
It seemed that Daggy's son in the car blinked in the rewind.
The girl at the toilet, it would seem, should have reacted any way she wanted, but not to flirt with the man who was about to pee, especially since it had previously been shown how she felt about flirting at work.
Daggy's colleague, whose coffee he drank, should also have reacted differently to tea, but he seemed to like everything.
And in general, the reaction to Daggy's behavior seems to be turned inside out, mirrored.
Maybe it's true, some other dimension is breaking through somewhere.
The surveillance of Daggy seems to be connected with the Wigwam after all (call to Buenos Aires, transformation of objects).
Tammy is good, observant.
Everything mirrors and echoes, it's very interesting.
In general, the bottom line is, where do so many doubles come from?
I also noticed a joke when they allowed him to hit jackpots in kazik and leave with such a sum of money, but now the topic is closed, the casino supervisor turned out to be stupid and rightly got a craze.
P.S. I am pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Robert Knepper
