That is, neither Elektra, the "perfect weapon", as they called her in the second season, nor Alexandra were able to keep Stick? Interesting. He is, of course, a master of the Clean, but both ladies seem to be not sewn with a bast, but scattered to the sides like helpless kittens. Alexandra still causes conflicting feelings, or rather, there are almost none at all, except for a pretty good appearance at the end of the film, but Sigourney is gorgeous just like years ago, even better, in my opinion. It is very symbolic to cut off your hand while being in captivity of the Hand. Well, the series at least shed a little light on the Black Sky. Although I would have been happy with Elektra in any case, nevertheless, the beginning was really impressive from the very scene of the resurrection. Here they are ,the "mythical tales" of the ancient ninja order. Danny and Luke are like in kindergarten, the faces of Colleen and Claire spoke for themselves, which was in sharp contrast to the dialogue between Jessica and Matt at the beginning of the series. (Can we have heroes for hire already, hey?) Jess chasing Murdoch is a priceless moment. And the very fight in the corridor, which was expected from the moment of the first trailer, for me personally, met all expectations. Again, Luke appeared under hip-hop. :D Not in one take, but very, very much. The team has at least gathered. Matthew did find out who it was, at first I thought that they would postpone the moment for another couple of episodes, fortunately, they did not. Their scene was dizzying. This distrust, confusion, confusion. I couldn't count on anything more yet. In general, the episode flew by in one breath. And I notice the music for the third series, the strings sound very beautiful, to the point of goosebumps.
@lady_luckless: Maybe they let him leave on purpose so that he could take him out on a Fist. Or maybe he's stronger. And Elektra has not yet reached the highest level.
Finally, the plot does not go by snail's steps, but even the series seems to be shaking. Well, in the moments with Danny and Luke, future Heroes for hire are directly felt
Hey, it's getting hot! The most pleasing scenes in the series were with Luke and Danny, such kindergarten students "he hit me first"! They even tried to play some kind of ideological conflict, although I didn't really understand Luke's argument.: "So what if he was pouring gasoline on corpses, the kid just needed a job, did you hit him?" I also didn't really understand the chase scene from Tom and Jerry with Matt and Jessica. What the hell was that? Why did Matt start to parkour and how did he not notice with his super senses that Jess was shooting him? And Danny, damn, is still the same summer child: he decided to come right into the enemy's lair and say that I will show you kuzkin's mother! What could possibly go wrong? But the scene at the end redeems everything, yes)
@MrShemsh: in my opinion, it was acid, not gasoline, although it may have seemed to me. Well, his argument is that Dani, being a well-off person, can solve cases differently than beating the crap out of small fry. And his hit-and-run rather meant not "fuck did you hit him?", but "fuck did you do there at all, having your own resources?" And yes, I agree with you about Matt's scene with Jessica. The screenwriters apparently decided that pathos is more important than logic.
@MBright: Then the comment above is logical: he should have heard/smelled/smelled her with a sixth sense, after all. And certainly not to "burn" in front of some alcoholic criminal, with whom he is not really familiar yet.
@timmymondo: I wish Jessica and Murdock were together, perfect. By the way, I didn't catch up with why Jessica and Luke ran away, like there were such carrots.
I started watching the episode and immediately admitted the mistake of missing both seasons of DD, because I don't know Electra's backstory at all. I'll have to watch after "Defenders" ... but here's the moment with the choice of weapons, for example, I immediately checked out. Although she stayed with Sai, she still chose wakizashi, which means that this is already the "Black Sky", and not Electra.
If the first two episodes of the show were closer to the "series" format, then everything here is more cinematic, both inside the episode and the transition between the previous series and this one. The narrative doesn't stop, and that's cool. (On the other hand, it makes sense, because you don't have to wait a whole week for the next episode.)
@amyponds: My laughter at this remark was replaced by a minute of silence for the broken camera, because well, you could just get a memory card, well, May!!
@skakunchik: and in the movies it's always like that) when they want to destroy data on a computer, they smash the case of the system unit / laptop or even the monitor, not the hard drive. The same thing happened with the camera, it was smashed, but the photos remained intact on the memory card))
@Drummer: by the way, it was like that in Luke Cage season 1 - he smashed up the scientist's computer, but then he found (almost?) an undamaged hard drive.
The hypocritical Hatch. Punks from the streets cannot be beaten, because they are "trying to feed their families" by working for bandits, but they can beat a pack of kung fu men in suits who work for the mafia boss - yes please! Double standards, however. They're just not from his neighborhood, apparently, AND THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.
@brutallegend: It's not so much about double standards as it is about motivation. I doubt that guys in suits can't find a job to feed their family. And it's harder for punks to find a job than for martial arts professionals.
@kingforthesirens: It's decidedly wonderful that you can tell by eye which is easier for whom. But that's exactly what Luke was talking about in his emergency monologue: don't think you know people's motivations. I can think of a bunch of options for manipulating the sixers, as is usually the case in criminal structures. It's just easier for him to allow a double bottom in a situation with "his own" than with people from another class cluster, which gives him away as a hypocrite. Strong, but not smart. It's just like in real life.
@kingforthesirens: Yeah, that's what they tell the guards during the interview.: "You know that we are a criminal group, and you understand the moral responsibility for our actions?"
Not like those poor hard workers... They probably thought that the homeless had nowhere to wash and they were watering them in the shower... It's dark there -they didn't see that some of the heads were missing...
How did Matt hear gunfire on who the fuck knows which floor, but from a couple of meters away he didn't hear the footsteps and the sound of Jessica's camera?
Matt was in a hurry, that's obvious, but it's also obvious that it's very noisy in New York and he was concentrating on the more important thing, drowning out the rest.
@BoomBox_: And I thought he was following Jessica, but in such an abundance of sounds he lost her, while she burned that she was being chased, and she began to follow the pursuer, then Murdock realized that he was being chased (maybe Jessica), and then he tried to quickly get out, and that's when she burned him.
@North_Art: In the comics, it was said that he specifically memorized some of the sounds and practiced highlighting them. For example, the sound of a trigger being pulled.
@vk459618: He heard everything, but at first he was watching her. Jess burned down the surveillance, switched places. Then he burned that he was burned and started running away.
@vk459618: elementary, the sound of a gunshot is an irritant, he hears everything for several blocks, but drowns out these sounds. Similarly, if something is thrown at you from the side, you may well dodge, although you still won't really understand that something is flying, it's a matter of reflexes and instincts, and he fights crime, for him any noise from a weapon is like a sharp rustle behind his back.
Why are several men carrying Elektra at the beginning of the episode?.. I don't think it weighs that much, considering that everyone in the Hand is very well trained. -_-
@dayanaar: dead people's muscles don't work or contract in any way. They are completely relaxed and the body becomes like a sandbag. Therefore, it seems that the body is heavier than it really is.
@MBright: And it's more inconvenient to drag! True, I didn't carry corpses, but an unconscious person is about the same (although, they say, corpses get stale over time..)
Looking at Matt with a scarf, I remembered him in the first season. Although the suit was not bad, but in black without a suit, he looked gorgeous and realistic)
And the series is getting better and more exciting. Was I the only one screaming in the whole house when everyone finally got together? And the moment when Danny punches Electra's weapon with his fist (sorry, I forgot the name) is just aschschschschsch.
And this "who are you people" sounded so funny, I don't know why, but I hate it.
In the same scene where the poster with Lee's Wall appeared (25-26 min.), a tall dark-skinned man in a Kangol cap looms in front of Jessica. Is this an allusion to Samuel L. Jackson or an incredible coincidence?
Like heaven and earth compared to the first episodes. I looked it up on Wikipedia - the first two episodes were directed by the same director. He's a bad director. Everything was shot great, even the color filters didn't annoy, the plot started moving, the fights were cool, the cinematography was normal. Why couldn't it have been like this from the very beginning?
Who is Alexandra??? The defenders finally met, we didn't have to wait long, it was cool. I understand that Elektra is not Elektra, but some kind of puppet, no love, no longing, no pity...senseless lady
@Zory: That's who has the pathos, so it's Danny, you know! from his speech in the audience, I almost slipped under the table - so pathetic!!!
personally, I see regret in Luke (that he left that kid at the police station), and sympathy (the scene with his mother), and humor (It's complicated), and he looks at Claire in a completely different way than he looks at other people.
Danny is touching with his naivety. Come right into the enemy's lair and declare war on them. What did he expect, that they would be scared and let go in peace?
"Someone is coming... Something is coming..." Yes, so let's all just stand in the hallway and wait! Moreover, they are coming from the wrong direction, which we were going to leave. And you thought! Otherwise, the "fight in the corridor" will not take place. It's already a cliche, but I like it) I'd already forgotten what an idiot Danny is, well. Since watching kulak, his stupidity has been perceived with a new freshness) Well, Alexandra's appearance in the frame with her hand (!) on Danny's shoulder is a clear hint)
The comments on the first episodes were mostly whining, which surprised me, because I barely looked up from watching the third episode to yell at my friends :D I didn't expect that I missed Jessica and Matt so much, but most of all I missed the incredible action scenes (it was only because of them that I was able to watch Kulak at the time, because Kulak himself is wildly infuriating with his naivety and facial expression. I'm sorry if I offended anyone). By the way, if someone advises me more movies / TV series with the same quality of action movies, I would be very grateful. There are no words for the series, just emotions: I like everything. And small cliches, not quite logical actions, etc. do not spoil the impression for me personally. I really like the interaction of the characters and the way they were smoothly brought together to one point. I like the color, I like the sound, I like the dialogues, the jokes... but most importantly, I like how they dilute each other. Kulak would do well to work with Jessica : D
@joryloh: Into the Desert of Death / Into the Badlands there are very cool fights in the first season, I haven't watched the second one yet. Marco Polo - definitely cool in the first season, then so-so
In the comments to the previous episodes, most were disappointed, but now everyone is happy) I was pleased with almost everything from the first episode, not without problems, but on a level. More Jessica and Matt in the frame, please!) (And teach Jessica kung fu)
How did Jessica deceive Matt's ears? And Danny doesn't look at all like a man who has devoted most of his life to training and self-improvement. He looks like a naive schoolboy, not a seasoned fighter. And Stig, of course, is just Mr. brutality. I applaud with both hands, it's a pity that he can't do it now.
@ArturProkopchuk: Jessica is a bloodhound, it's in her blood to cover her tracks and shoot down her tail, and Matt is a ninja, he knows how to follow, but what will he do when they start following him? For example, to go off into the sunset, which he did, but leaving behind a few photographs.
The heat has rushed! Danny, of course, is still naive, but funny! The fight turned out to be awesome, and the Stick proved to be unreleased! although you have to chop off your hand to choose from ordinary handcuffs.. But these are the little things! The main thing is that everything is assembled and it will start soon!!
They perfectly combined all the lines of the characters into one. I was pleased with the scene when Jessica and Matt enter the hallway, and in front of them Luke Cage destroys the scene. Equanimity of the hundredth level.
@vin: Matt closes his eyes to better concentrate on his other senses. The DD explains that he is not completely blind until pitch dark. Isn't that right?
@GentleManiac: He is completely blind, his eyesight does not work. But because of the radioactive waste, the rest of the senses have become extremely acute and the so-called "radar" has developed, which allows Matt to "feel" the surrounding space and recognize the shape of objects. Back in 1964, Daredevil could see even better than humans in this way, but Frank Miller did not like this idea, so after him the radar allowed him to see the world around him blurred, mainly when the object was moving.
@Дозорница: this is not vision, this is a picture in his mind, which is formed from his existing senses, apparently because he was born sighted after all. The fact that we are being shown an "impressionistic painting" is rather his imagination. He himself (and Cox) denies that it looks like vision. In an interview, he said that they didn't want to make these pictures, like in the Affleck movie, they confuse the audience. But we did it anyway)
@shuey: well, yes, it's like a kind of picture from a thermal imager, only it is formed based on the totality of information received from other senses.
@Дозорница: Yes, it looks like it. Inner vision, you might say) When we see something with our "inner eye", we mean imagination (not fiction), without connection with the eyes.
The Hand is a very ancient and powerful organization. Her people are everywhere, no one knows the limits of her influence. > Some secretary Googles in one minute and finds all her front companies, and where they transfer money to. > Danny Rand comes straight to the center of their lair without any problems.
It's brilliant.
Even though I'm a guy, I'm tired of looking at Jessica in the same clothes and with the same hairstyle.
@Hohn: Luke also wears the same clothes all the time. And Matt. And Danny. They all wear the same clothes forever. Or just a similar one. But it's only Jessica who pisses me off.
@frau_rauber: Exactly. When are two years (or how many years have passed? I must have made a mistake) since the finale of Jessica's first season, she's been wearing exactly the same clothes. It looks silly. Not because it's illogical, but because I'm tired of it as a viewer. @North_Art: Yes, but not so obvious.
The series is cool! The fight in the hallway was a delight, but Jessica wasn't there, and everything was fine, but remind me how Luke found out that Danny was in this building, and even more so in this room!?! UPD: I reviewed the series and figured out how.
@bulekov99: Luke didn't come because of Danny - he found a parking ticket from this company in the black kid's apartment in a box with money and lottery tickets, so he decided to check , but why did he all go to the floor to the management of the company and there was no need to explain - they didn't have to find out everything from the cleaners?
@Alina2007: I was also wondering how Luke was allowed on this floor to the management, if Danny was given access there, and Matt and Jessica went up on their own? However, everything is clear with Matt, and Jessica, apparently, charmed that security guard-receptionist))
As far as I know, Luke and Kulak have set up some kind of desk in New York to help people. That is, they cooperate. Their little interaction at the beginning of the fight turned out to be quite good.
@Мася: The name of this "office" is "Heroes for Hire," if I understand what you're talking about. It was canonically founded by Luke, Danny and one of Danny's first girls, Misty. After that, the team fell apart many times and reassembled, there were different lineups. At the time of the registration of the heroes, Luke and Danny refused to do this, but Misty unexpectedly agreed and assembled a new cast of "Heroes for Hire." That's just in the series, as far as I know, this team has not yet appeared.
@olekolegovich: That's right, I was trying to remember about the Heroes for Hire. Knowing that Luke and Danny had organized the Heroes for hire, it was good to look at the beginning of their interaction.
"You look like an idiot." "It's your scarf." I'm starting to like the tandem of Murdoch and Jones, and Luke and Danny are not far behind. - So now you can hit? - Everything is complicated. The fight was great, but I just didn't understand how Matt Electra recognized it.
Initially, Matt was following Jones. Step by step. She sensed him, walked away from the tail and sat on Matt's tail herself. When Matt realized that he had not only been noticed, but also outsmarted, parkour began.
Am I being a little dumb or are the writers? At first, Danny thought that his parents were killed by the hand, then it turned out that Harold Meacham killed them. In the same episode, Danny again claims that the hand is to blame for their deaths.
@EmilDavletbaev: If I remember correctly, Gao arranged all this through Mitcham. In any case, Harold was serving the Hand, so whoever you call the culprit will be right.
@EmilDavletbaev: Well, Gao helped kill them and provided poison. Moreover, what's the point of resenting Meecham if he's already completely dead? And Gao and Ruka are thriving, so Danny turned his anger on them.
Hz, it's a bit boring for me. It wasn't until the end of the series that the action was added a bit, but overall it wasn't much. Let's see what happens next.
The third episode is even better than the second one) And these wonderful jokes about the scarf, Who are you people? and more: Jessica about Danny: Who is he? Luke: Longer story. (and about Matt) Who is he?
And when Luke starts hitting these dudes in suits and another rap sound comes on, it's really cool!!!
After watching the end of the episode, I realized that at first Matt felt the Black Sky as "something", and then he smelled Electra in it.
Well, I can't help but write that Danny, the most terrible of them all, made such a pathetic idiotic speech! The only thing that saves him from being "scrapped" is his glowing fist, which sometimes lights up on time)) (because when they pressed him against the table, he didn't light up!)
I've been waiting for a quartet of heroes for a very long time, I missed Matt and Jessica after boring Cage and Danny. I am delighted with the sarcastic and humorous moments. I laughed out loud when Danny was hiding behind the bullet hatch) I like the dynamics, they don't stretch the action.
@Ёлка172: Yes, I also laughed from that))) And from the way Jessica fought) Like she was cleaning her nails) I remembered how Luke fought almost the same way in her solo album) It stands and phlegmatically so "poke, poke ...", and people fly)))
Matt was beating the bad guys out of his Hand, even when Danny was relaxing in the temple. But no, give us an Iron Fist and that's it. Jessica in a gray sweatshirt is a nanny. Danny is more suited to be a businessman than a Fist. He looks more confident. Although compared to Alexandra, he's an inexperienced puppy. The last 10 minutes are pure delight.
The moment when Matt parks on the stairs with Jessica's scarf in front of his eyes, and she meets him already at the top, exiting the elevator with the words "You look like a moron", is simply enchanting!😂
How could Matt not hear Jessica's footsteps, who wasn't hiding at all, and even more so the camera clicks? I liked the way the Hatch protected Danny from bullets, and I felt the beginning of a bromance.
Original: "But I know what I am", NewStudio: "But I know what HE's like." Well, yes, well, yes - Turks definitely need to show off (Istanbul, not Constantinople) 😒 Since Sigourney has lived so many lives, why is she worried about her demise? After all, Harold had returned from the dead. Or is it that it will take a long and painful death before that? In the first season of DD, Stick killed a boy who was also a Black Sky - why wasn't he resurrected? To cut off my hand, and without hesitation and so quickly... "I am a Catholic. Hopeless cases are my weakness" 😁 It's funny to see people outside in warm clothes, although according to fans, the events take place in May, whereas in the residential complex everyone was dressed like in summer, whereas the events were supposed to take place in February-March, judging by the Chinese new year. 😅 It's strange that Matt didn't hear the footsteps behind him or the click of the phone. Unless, of course, he deliberately let her notice him. Why doesn't Joy ask? She also works for the company. It's nice to see Samsung phones that iPhones aren't the only phones in the world. Poor guy - losing 3 children in six months 😢 "So you can beat me now?" "Everything is complicated" / "You look like an idiot" "But it's your scarf" Well, someone is approaching - why wait and fight when you can leave? There's a bunch of them, four of you. Was there something left in Elektra that would let Matt know it was her? (after a minute) But no, I got it - I thought it was delayed or Stick would have to say everything. "Who the hell are you?" Netflix's Low-Budget Avengers The only caveat is that Claire didn't try to make an appointment with Matt either.
According to fan calculations, chronologically, the events of the last episode took place on May 6 (the meeting of Strange and Wong), this one begins at the same time and continues on May 7, when Strange was learning how to open portals.
My sick brain decided that Danny was the Naruto of the Marvel world 😆 kind, naive, with a bit of self-control problems because of the fire inside 👌🏻 perhaps that's why Danny doesn't annoy me like many in the comments😆 well, yes, green, always explodes like a teenager, but I don't see anything criminal in naivety. And it's great that he was paired with Luke, who is as calm as a boa constrictor, and will dampen Danny's anger a little.
For the entire episode, the only thing that confused Colleen was that for some reason she was dragging Danny into some kind of offensive again. Although Luke, in one meeting with Danny, was able to convey the idea that there was no point in waving your fists at sixes.
While watching the LCD, I thought that Danny would have to level Matt up in hand-to-hand combat, but in the fight with Electra, I realized that Matt seemed to have already leveled up.

Оливер одобряет.
The moments with Danny and Luke are very funny, and both behave like children in a sandbox:
— He hit me.
"You hit me first."
I'm waiting for subtitles for the next episodes from PhysKids. Thank them for their prompt and high-quality translation from:
Come together, hooray!
Elektra did slow down for a second when Matt called her by name.
Do they need Danny as a key or something?
It's just easier for him to allow a double bottom in a situation with "his own" than with people from another class cluster, which gives him away as a hypocrite. Strong, but not smart. It's just like in real life.

IT'S JUST FUCKING AWESOME!
Jessica is not Jones, but Icykew-- oh.
And finally, they were collected, and a movement appeared. They are interacting well so far :)
