The second season is lousy, not to mention that everything could fit into two episodes, or even into one. You have to be completely beaten off to go beyond the first room in this house, if they had at least one gyrus they would have entered and immediately left or would not have entered at all.
The first season was very interesting.

Until recently, I couldn't believe that this was the season finale. And the moment with the death of GG's father (my God, for 6 episodes I can't remember the name of the main character ...) — I almost let out a tear, probably an unhealthy love for the actor and his hero affected. Such an evolution from a being who feeds on memory into a truly loving father.
In general, the season was much more boring than the first, so let's hope that the third one will raise the bar again, and not slide down like aiu (however, up to and including the fifth season, he kept the bar high enough).

I liked that they showed me from such an angle that this is not a typical evil in the flesh, which does evil for the sake of evil, but it turns out that this is a creature with its own character, and its behavior is based not only on destroying everything in its path. So yes, they can have feelings too. And the real villain turned out to be a man in the end. It also seemed to me that the season is about not living in the past. Actually, it's a feeling when you sit down to watch a series without expectations, and it surprises you in the end.

The idea of this season was great, another crippypast that I knew before was redesigned pretty well. At first. But the heroes...These are the most moronic characters I've ever seen, and there's nothing left of a good idea. The last episode finally finished me off.

this kripipasta was very well shifted to a serial format (unlike the bay - it was a failure so a failure), the beginning was very cheerful and frightening.
but the further we went, the less interesting the season became, and the end, in my opinion, was completely merged. It's like the screenwriters are like, "Okay, we've screwed up everything in 5 episodes and now we have to sort it all out in one, HMMMM. Let's just end with a happy ending. and for the sake of drama, let's write that a year has already passed."

The 2nd season, in my opinion, turned out to be somewhat incomprehensible, the 1st pleased with its mystery and atmosphere. I'm very much an amateur of season 2, although I admit that I watched it in full :)

This season has nothing in common with the original story, except the idea itself. Where is the gradual maddening of the characters? Where are there any horrors at all? And, seriously, a happy ending? Did they just walk away?
As a separate work, the season pulls only a C grade, but it does not pull at all for the adaptation of the story.

An interesting reinterpretation of the crypto paste. And what was more hooked was not the house itself, but the fact that a simple person eventually becomes the villain, and the creation of this very house is more humane than many. And the actor, of course, did his best - I love Lynch.
A strong four from me to the series, I will wait for the next season.

@mstushka: Cannibals. The memories that Seth created when he first got into the house (something like "the perfect family"). He fed them all the bad, unnecessary memories, and then locked them in a cage so they wouldn't turn him into a vegetable.

I'm more interested in the question: what kind of ball was it that pulled memories out of Jules?

Такое чувство, что сезон заканчивали второпях - скомканный финал, герои вообще нераскрыты, природа дома не объяснена. Развитие персонажей топ - когда Джилс успела превратиться из вечного депрессивного нытика в бойца с ножом? Сэт, как и ожидалось, оказался злодеем, а гг стала еще больше тормозить. Но главное разочарование - это сам дом. Его происхождение, история никак не объясняются. В первом сезоне хоть внимание уделили главному объекту крипипасты, а в этом дом без конца был просто декорацией.

Классный общий сюжет очень нелогично и затянуто вложили в сериал, а концовку так и вовсе слили :( всё так просто и банально, актерам как буто сказали "вы и так играли не очень, а теперь вообще перестаньте это делать!" ужас, девчонки обе такие овощные, а Сет так переигрывал, что аж передергивало.
К тому же все так гладко закончилось... И почему, в таком случае, другие заложники дома не могли также взять и уйти?..
И бля, когда Марго заговорила "что такое любовь?" это был такой фейспалм. Короче, начиналось всё круто, кончилось позором.

Сезон так круто начинался и так плохо кончил(ся) :с

Причём вот прям от серии к серии всё становилось хуже и хуже. Но в целом после провального (для меня) первого сезона, второй даже не плох . Есть желание включить третий :)

Второй сезон мне понравился больше, первый мне не зашёл вообще. Во втором начало было интересным и сюжет местами пугающий. Концовка очень даже хороша, зло реабилитировалось , другие злодеи наказаны, все счастливы, даже слеза навернулась.

Блин, вот как напрягают эти моменты, когда тебе кажется, что он сейчас ее ударит, а она стоит и смотрит на него и он подходит к ней все ближе, а она все стоит, смотрит и вот он уже возле нее и... ударяет... фак, ну это ж ясно было, что не убежала-то?
Подводя итог, скажу, что сезон понравился, меньше первого, но понравился... Местами нудноват и эта Марго - дура, но все-таки понравился.

Так много вопросов и так мало ответов, например линия с другом (детства!) вообще не понятна. Почему его прототип не голодал? Куда делась его молчаливая девушка? Когда девочки выбрались из дома они даже не подумали сообщить кому-то, что на "аттракционе" в виде загадочного дома погиб их друг/знакомый или пусть родственники сами его ищут? Странно это всё.

Идея замечательная. Абьюз, нарциссизм, траур, комплексы, травмы и т.д. показаны интересно. Но в целом сценарий очень плохо проработан(что часто бывает со вторыми сезонами), куча персонажей, никак не влияющих на сюжет, который в свою очередь ужасно растянут, никакого развития главных героев(разве что немного под конец, но очень натянуто), мало логики в действиях персонажей,. Желание смотреть сериал дальше, после такого сезона, пропало. А первый был захватывающий.

Второй сезон понравился с первой серии. Тема абьюза, выбора, дружбы, свободы, зависимости etc. Очень вкусно. Концовкой полностью доволен и рад, что хоть одного НËХа сделали клёвым (способным сделать выбор, полюбить даже, стать действительно... живым?). Восторг. Линч шикарен.
