The situation with a bunch of rooms and a monster was reminiscent of that Doctor Who episode, "God Complex." It's not for nothing that TV series have fanbases that overlap so much.

A good, kind series about intelligent, crazy people.
In general, there is something Taoist in all of this (and I love it when there is something Taoist in a work). Pure spontaneity and wuwei. Plus a good pinch of absurdism.

Sherlock, who was woken up by Todd, is just an illustrative example of me in the morning.
The communication between Panto and Bart was so sweet that it was impossible not to smile.
If I'm not mistaken, Sherlock turned out to be the second person Todd told about his illness and how selfish he was and how he cheated on his sister, and now he wants to fix it all. And the support from the sheriff is aaaww.
And the episodes with Amanda and Vogl are as beautiful as the dawn! Vogle really wanted to help him so that he wouldn't suffer from pain, and just hug Amanda. Although, she copes well with the troubles piled up by lighting a cigarette and showing the middle finger x) But! Did you see her face when she saw Todd? Even though he was lying to her, she was GLAD to see him, after all, a close person. My heart was in a lot of pain.
I am infinitely pleased that in every episode Todd tries to make Dirk uncomfortable, who is having an existential crisis. He's going to protect him so that nothing happens to him, even if he starts protesting and asking Todd not to follow him.

Honestly, when I watched the moment with the purple monster, I got hooked on a point.

I am very glad that everything is gradually starting to clear up. If it wasn't clear at all in the first episode, now the puzzle is starting to take shape in a small way.

How much this series resembles a mix of Doctor Who and Twin Peaks. Moreover, some tension is taken from Twin Peaks, almost on the verge of hysteria, and optimism is taken from the Doctor, the one that "no matter what".
