In general, I really love Vincent - he is interesting, cunning in moderation, principled and an excellent leader, born. If he takes on something, he seems to immerse himself in it completely, he is a very loyal friend and a terrible enemy for someone, hell, he even reads spells passionately! In general, for me one of the favorite characters of the series, along with Marcel, and I really hope that in the end he will still be happy.
How sorry I am for my Vincent, well, he always has everything through the back seat. He has no luck with his favorite girls at all. First the wife went crazy, then met Ivy, then lost, then she came back and lost again.. That's cruel, Plec!
Josh's death didn't hurt me as much as Vincent's tears did. But Josh found peace beautifully. And this may mean (as an option) that Elijah's death awaits us and his reunion with Hayley.. a kind of happy end in the Plekovsky way.
I also laughed at Marcel's words: "Josh, I won't wait, I need backup!".. Yes, yes, an ordinary vampire to help a Monster.... he climbed himself, it's his own fault.. I wonder what Josh said to Marcel? If he did..
Oh, yes! I really liked Vincent's idea to free the ancestors and finally let them find peace. This is a wonderful and not selfish decision, even though the forces of living witches will be somewhat less.
Gillis did a good job, but I'd fucking burn Elijah's script for this season.
