Greetings to all from the author's group Servants of the People! We answer the question of concern to the audience:
part of the series, or even more precisely, 5 episodes of the 2nd season show the events of the film in an expanded version. This has been repeatedly stated by the creators.
The whole story of the 2nd season as a whole is impossible without the events of the film and does not exist separately: the adventures of Vasya and Yuri Ivanovich, the story with the IMF - provide prerequisites for further developments in the second season.
In general, this is not a new practice in the production of films and TV series.
There are a number of paintings existing in 4, 8, and even 16-series versions.
The difference is that they end the same way as the movie versions. In our case, in the season, after the IMF's message to w # pu, the story will continue, moreover, very famously.
We can say that in the movie we showed part of the puzzle, and the second season will reveal the whole picture.
