Sustained in the spirit of the original, it was a little disappointing that "Dr. Smith" was turned into a female image, but respect Parker Posey, she played her character so well that I waited all 10 episodes for her to be finished off, preferably painfully))
I really liked the new robot, but I missed B9 a little.
Another interesting Easter egg: the real Dr. Smith was played by Will (Bill Mammy) from the original.
A very good gift from Netflix, for those who watched Lost In Space without stopping as a child.
And if it really didn't matter who was what color and gender, then they wouldn't bring gender and racial diversity into many works just for show and to avoid attacks.
PS There is no need to answer, these are all rhetorical questions.
And a bunch of everything else, I won't list it further.
To my taste, I will say that Stargate is far from the most interesting series in the genre.
(Although I really like the Stargate Universe similar to the Battlestar Galaxy atmosphere. It's a pity it was closed).
the series rather disappointed me. at least just a low number of differences from the earth. there were butterflies, there were some kind of jellyfish that created the effect of our northern lights. and actually everything. dinosaurs... seriously? sometimes it felt like the creators just didn't have enough creativity. ah, the robot was gorgeous, especially in combat mode)
I hope there will be a second season, because it's very interesting to watch what happens to this family)
Never before have I wanted to hit a child so hard!!! And even Dr. Smith is not so infuriating!
And the current 2018 is a remake/relaunch of exactly the same series from the 1960s.
I don't understand how anyone can like it at all except children. A terrible scenario, the action is sucked out of your finger, absolutely no tension, no drama and no chemistry.
When the robot is the only interesting element of the show, you realize that the script has big problems.
In each episode, they face an absolutely insurmountable obstacle when their lives are in immediate danger. And every time something completely unforeseen comes out of nowhere and saves everyone.
Just absurd scenarios of the "danger" of each episode, in which we already know that no harm will come. There is also pretentious music placed in certain places to try to enhance the drama. This is too exaggerated.
The fantasy genre usually tells us something about itself, as well as about the opportunities and threats that we may face in the future. "Lost in Space" tells us only one thing: that everyone is unhappy and does not love each other. I kept waiting for the declared fantasy genre to finally reveal itself and show something more than predatory animals, but this did not happen even in the last series. And I still came here to watch science fiction.
I won't even talk about other characters, it feels like the authorities on earth chose the dumbest people on the planet and sent them into space to clean up the earth's gene pool. I don't understand what tests they passed there. If

I liked the picture, it is clear that a lot of money was invested. But this is the case when there is nothing else behind the beautiful wrapper. And I also liked that funny guy and his chicken. But that's it. One of the worst sci-fi I've ever watched.

Her motive is to start a new life and survive.
There was exactly one moment when she deliberately prevented others from getting on the main ship - this was the destruction of the lantern.
And she did it only for the reason that the admiral would have executed her on the ship.
At the moment when she stunned her mother, she simply did not know that nothing would work without help from Jupiter.

The film sets its own laws of the world - if this is a fairy tale with magic, then the illogicality is explained by the conventions of this very magic, if this is space fiction, then the limitation there is just real physics. Yes, with assumptions due to fiction, but still real physics. This is not a cartoon where the laws of physics can be anything.
To sculpt an ill-conceived plot justifying "this is for children" is a hack, not a family movie, since adults have to sit hand-face the whole movie because of this, and this is no longer a family movie, but some kind of family torment....
And in the end, it's a remake, they couldn't get far from the original, I don't think they even wanted to.

А почему "закончить бы", затянули?
Узнала ты, что доктор Смит не та, так сразу иди к маме/предводителю и кончай ее, но нет я буду ждать до тех пор, пока та не сбежит или натворит дел.
Короче иногда нужно прикладывать руки и мозги к хорошим идеям и не портить нормальный сериал такими тупизмами.
Может во втором сезоне исправятся?? Буду надеяться
весь бюджет ушел на робота походу

Но из-за пары фраз сразу простила все косяки: "В учебниках пишут о погибших героях. Но учебники пишут те, кто выжил" и от мальчика: "Зачем было спасать меня всю жизнь, если я не смогу спасти тебя, когда вырасту?"
А то что Робинсонов закинуло бы в какую-нибудь космо-жопень, так это было вполне ожидаемо!!!
И вопросов больше чем ответов это да...
Самый простой вопрос - как блять этот кусок металла захватил управление кораблём!???
По-серьёзному - сериал для детей от 0 лет, по содержанию ситком на 100+ серий на каждый вечер. Была куча моментов, где хоть кто-то мог драматически погибнуть, но нет, из-за кадра появляется рука спасения. КАК ТАКОЕ ВОЗМОЖНО?
Все знают Робинсонов (они же Робинсоны), но никто не слышал про Доктора Смита. Ага, рассказывайте.
Возвращение робота на светлую сторону вообще не имеет никакой причины.
И еще логика Смитт непонятна вообще. Зачем она спасла их? Для чего?
Но при этом не поскупились на красивую съемку, спецэффекты и всякую такую штуку.
Как итог - смотришь в перемотке, лишь бы узнать что там уже, все умерли или продлят на второй сезон. Продлят. смотреть точно не буду.
"Доктор Смит", к сожалению разочаровывает своей очевидностью - ей даже внешность, даже чертову прическу подобрали так, чтобы с первых секунд на экране было ясно, что она за человек.
Робота могли бы раскрыть получше. Становление личности роботов - одна из самых увлекательных тем в сюжетах с их участием - вспомните хотя бы недавнего Айзека из Орвилла. Местная консервная банка выглядит внушительно, и действительно местами проникаешься к ней симпатией (когда этот мешок с гайками, например, хлопал в ладоши над раскрывающимися цветами), но сценаристы эту линию из раза в раз не додавливают. Все-таки делать робота молчаливым с каждой последующей серией кажется все менее удачной идеей. И все же он был украшением сериала.
Но больше всего все-таки запомнились сцены исследования нового мира. Поначалу он похож на земной, однако то тут то там мелькают фантастические представители флоры и фауны, благодаря чему искренне веришь в то, что тебе показывают иной, бесконечно далекий и крайне диковинный мир.
Одним словом, сериал впечатляет. Крепкое приключенческое многосерийное кино, не без изъянов, но ведь ничто на свете не идеально. (Хотя первая серия так и осталась лучшей - там и напряжение выше было, и темп повествования бодрее, и, что главное, с героями действительно приключались вещи, которые ставили их в трудное положение, создавая дилеммы).
Хороший сериал, с космосом, красивыми местами и новыми созданиями, хорошим юмором и сюжетом, проработанными персонажами (жаль только, что не о всех было рассказано). Не идеально, конечно, но я точно буду ждать продолжения
Да и вообще: может быть, в своё время фильм не «собрал что-то там необходимое для сиквела», но он все равно хорош. И каст классный. И саундтрек выше всяких похвал.
Да и персонажи были прописаны лучше.
Здесь же... ну просто очевидные дыры. В каждой серии.
Мне понравилась идея со сменой пола Смит, но в итоге она не дотянула до действительного «зла», что ли.
Сериал смотрю только из-за того, что в целом плюсов больше. Да и сам плот изначально хорош.
Посмотрим, как будет дальше.
На ляпы внимания почти не обращала, была поглощена сюжетом, и получила наслаждение от просмотра :)
и охх, как же я была рада, когда Джон с Морин снова сошлись, пару серий назад 😄❤️ ужасно порадовала сцена в смоле (или где это они застряли 😆😆)
В общем, мне понравился сериал, смотрю дальше :)
Единственное, чего не пойму так этой преданности робота к пацану. Ну не заслужил он её. Он даже толком его не спасал, скинул с дерева когда был уверен, что помрёт через несколько минут.
Детки хороши, но некоторые их поступки раздражали в течение сезона, но я надеюсь Уилл больше не будет совершать подобное в будущем, плюс героический поступок стоит того, чтобы его можно было простить.
