@AlinaKipr: Well, the validity is quite relative.
Although the idea is theoretically interesting, but the execution is not too impressive yet. First, the characters. We still don't understand who these people are and why we should worry about them. What is this girl like? What does she want in life? We don't see anything of this. Some things are happening, but we don't have any emotional connection to what is happening.
Secondly, the slow, mournful tone inherent in Netflix series lately has been severely testing patience. Watching turns into a kind of test of will.
Thirdly, although the storyline is still unclear, what we see from it is not surprising in the slightest. A girl with superpowers and some dudes are hunting her, and she is escaping from them. (YAWN) It's all been done a million times, the same people have exhausted this topic to the bottom a couple of decades ago. We live in an era of the dominance of film comics, give us something fresh, somehow beat the theme, some kind of genre mixing or some other postmodernism.
In short, it's too early to say anything specific about the first episode, but there's not much interest yet.

They mixed the End of this *** world with something paranormal, seasoning it with a low budget. The first episode is kind of slow, depressing, even I would say... There is not much interest so far. But because of Guy Pearce, I'll see what happens next...

I thought for half an episode, maybe they were werewolves and they wanted to isolate her so that she wouldn't turn by killing someone... but judging by the ending, it's something else... but it's still intriguing...

Psy: The music is sooooo satisfying. Even at a speed of +1.5 .
