It's a great season. However, the series calendar summed it up. I calculated on it, but I've already watched the whole season. But to be honest, he's awesome.
The season is a million times better than the third! Actors are not infuriating. The denouement happened well, but very predictably. I watched the first two episodes in one go, then everything started to give up. I liked my idea. 7/10.
An interesting idea and execution. It's exciting, I've watched everything with a binge. The first episodes were even a little scary, then you get used to it, but the series doesn't get any worse. I caught a strange crash on Yen, helb)
The crayons are so cool :) And in the role of Jack's Pretzel - Troy James, on YouTube you can watch his performance on America's Got Talent, he was apparently taken directly from there to the series :))
@twelve: Wow! Thanks for the tip. I was sure that half of his movements were ordinary special effects. I found him on YouTube, he's awesome, just great!
The main disadvantage of this season for me personally is that it's not at all creepy, except for the first appearances of Jack's Pretzel, but then he's such a cutie With: BUT I still really liked the season, the story and the idea are very cool. Indeed, as we wrote above, such a chamber story turned out compared to season 3 I liked the character Ian the most, the actor did a great job, as for me, I love all kinds of sick bastards :D
I was thinking about what the trick of wax multicolored weirdos is, and then it dawned on me...Ian once told his sister that as a child he had an imaginary friend Tall Boy and pencils, and so, along the way, colorful men are a kind of variation of what pencils would look like if they were alive. But this is so, purely a theory, it's just that there was a background to the Toll Fight, and nothing is known about them except the drawings that Tom found.
@Demogorgon: Great theory! I think that's the way it is. Thank you, I've been racking my brain about what kind of colorful men they are))) and he also had all the dogs dressed in colorful blouses, apparently so as not to confuse them, but in a sense they also resembled a set of colored pencils))))))
I don't know, the season was not as shocking and delayed as the previous two, but the beginning and the idea were very hooked, especially the beginning.it was amazing, and in the end, although predictable, it was interesting.
This, apparently, is already a classic for the series - to do one season with no, the next with potential at the beginning, but boredom at the end, then again no season with both potential and boredom. Exactly the same story happened to me with the fourth season as with the second. Also the first episode is straight uuuhhh, it's so cool! And then it gets worse and worse, in the end, even though there are only six episodes in the season, it still seems insanely long. The same story after the first episode loses both in dynamics and in coolness ..
and we are sliding more and more into a slasher trash... I like the idea that a person is still more dangerous and scarier than the monsters he creates, but on the whole the season seemed wadded up and drawn out, not a bit scary and overly relying on supposedly spectacular scenes of good old ultra-violence. But all these white goo, guts and blood caused only a feeling of disgust, like horror films of category b from the 80s. In general, I understand and enjoy some homage to the classic horror series of that time, but building horrors only at the expense of bloody porridge is already outdated, as for me. A very, very average season, in my opinion.
I was afraid that they would do this: sweet Ian would kill Tom, Jill would make herself a new Tom and live with him. Everything was going right to that)))
The first season was nothing, the second and third were shit, but this one is very even. And amen.
I agree with the guys... I watched the season in one go))) I wanted to watch one episode at night (or the third one), as a result, I turned it off in the very first minutes... It was terrible... So I also opened my eyes at night, looked to see if such a clown was worth it at all!)
It turned out to be a very strange season. After the first episode, I thought it would be horror, as it should be. Unfortunately, everything went down to trash and that's all. Overall, the series is average. Of all the seasons, I can only attribute the first to horror (which is actually why I consider it the best). The rest of the seasons were anything but horror. I also want to mention the soundtrack in the series separately. In all seasons, it was beautiful: always in place, diverse and suitable
I've been looking at Pretzel Jack through the palm of my hand for most of the season, because I'm terribly afraid of clowns, but in this episode he surpassed himself! His pretty face on the stairs after killing Kalanchi is something, and in general he was super cute the whole series. The only season that looked great. The chamber plot and a small number of characters clearly benefited
Ahhh, that's stupid. Ian picks up the creatures like there's no way to do it, runs a marathon without any problems, but "it's very hard to create." Jill doesn't feel ANYTHING at all from Jack's death, although "it's a part of you," and Ian was flattened even more by the death of Lanky. Moronism is driven by moronism and moronism. It would be better to quit after the third season.
Oh, I liked Pretzel Jack so much that it's a pity that he's just a character from one season. Or does he still have a prototype? It was said that the series was based on some kind of cryptipasts. One of the few modern horror characters that interested me, I would really like to see him again.
