Well, okay It was strong, It was sad. The ending didn't make me shed a tear, I rather feel a certain emptiness. There were TOO MANY sudden plot twists and deaths, which indicates the signs of a decent title. Especially for fans of watching an opinion about the series that has not yet been viewed, I will not comment on the ending, you will find out for yourself. I advise anime, especially for glass lovers♡
It was so scary to watch the last episode... at first I waited until the last for a trick, then I still hoped for a good ending, although I kind of knew that it wouldn't happen... Now I really feel so empty. It's probably actually the best thing I've watched. Nice drawing, great soundtrack, openings and endings - love. It's not often that anime makes me go straight to read manga, and then right from the first series. I don't even know what to say. It seems that almost every episode made me cry, I wonder how the creators managed to weave humor into it, which was just right. Probably, one can only dream of such a soulmate connection as Ash and Agee have...
The thing is definitely good, only more was expected from the beginning. If you evaluate it as a whole work, starting from the middle, it sags very much, loses its original plot and begins to focus on the feelings of the main characters, sometimes remembering the original theme. You look - it seems cool, but after the ending there is very little left.
Perhaps, up to the death of the Shorter, it clung, there was a whole plot, there was a tie, there were hints of the main goal (to reveal and publish information about the fish, to publish information about the Goldzini club). And after that, a lot of disparate scenes began, the meaning of which, to be honest, I no longer remember, despite careful viewing. A scenario in the style of "kidnapped - need to save - a moment of peace - repeat from the beginning."
Of the really catchy moments, only the monologue about the leopard and the idiotic ending of Ash's line, who was previously represented as an immortal terminator, and then they took it and merged it. This drain can only be justified by the fact that going to the library to finish reading the letter (and clearly not having time to ask for help) is a conscious decision of the character. In any other case, it will really be a very stupid plot move, designed for increased tear squeezing. But plus to the creators for having decided on such a thing, it's rare.
From just good moments - an adequate completion of the Goldzini line and the further disclosure of him as a character.
Of the pleasant moments - Blank, when he's in the frame, it's just nice to watch, no matter what he does. Immediately plusominus - hints that Ash may be Blanca's own son have not been commented on in any way.
In general, for the age of 18 years, the story contains everything you need to spread out on the floor in a thin puddle and try your best to empathize with the heroes with taste. After that, when there is already a lot of serial experience, the desire to empathize with the characters is easily overlapped by attempts to follow the plot and understand that the authors have just forgotten a little about the whole narrative.
@shei350: I agree with almost every word, if it wasn't for the ending, I would also put a four. Because after the death of the Shooter, the script really went according to plan, they kidnapped / rescued + Ash's pizdostradaniya. But that's the whole point, so much time was devoted to his character development, he spent the whole series going from a man consumed with hatred, including for himself, to the realization that he also deserves the love of other people and to be happy. And this development came to a logical conclusion when he ran to the airport, and then HMMMM LOL NO, I HAVE A NON-FATAL WOUND, I WILL BLEED TO DEATH AND I WILL NOT CALL FOR HELP. Why? Obviously, he would not have died from a knife wound, we have been shown many times that this devil is not so easy to kill. After everything that was done to him, to die from being stabbed with a toothpick, as they already wrote here, well, this is some kind of inconsistent stupidity. And it's not even that I would like a happy ending (I would, but instead of the canon, I would prefer that he died at the hands of Goltsine, for example), but that all character development is down the drain. Agee, be with me! No, it's too dangerous with me. Stay with me at least a little. Stay away from me, I'm a killer. Some kind of roller coaster, but only missed with a stop. Therefore, the troika, unfortunately.
@shei350: damn, half a day has passed, I'm still burning up. So many people believed in him, so many risked everything for him. Either for the potential unification of the center, or for the sake of liberation from the undesirable top, or simply because his cause is right. They put aside all their differences with each other, even abandoned their pride somewhere. They sacrificed their authority and the respect of their comrades. And how many people died in general. They all chose him as their leader one way or another. AND HE JUST DIED SO STUPIDLY. UGH I'd better go and see Jojo
@bettermetal: well, it's like the last season of Game of Thrones. It was possible to explain this decision by the fact that the character could not stand it, broke down, that he no longer had the strength to fight (and did not care that he had already won). But it must be shown to the viewer, through actions, hints, simply by changing the picture from a lighter to a darker one, as is often done. And here the authors just killed the Persian for the sake of shock and left the audience to think out the reasons.
I'm also going to throw on the fan - the first three arches are good, in the fourth gg I'm sad and inclined to overcome, to the fifth hz how to find fault objectively, but I didn't like it.
@RubensInFurs: for some reason this is a bright ending for me, I do not know why... It's very bright and empty for me... I have never cried over any episode of this beautiful anime, but some strings of the soul of this anime, of course, touched...
Only I was glad that everything was fine... That Ash and Eiji were able to go through so many dangers and obstacles, as it would seem, when everything was already over, it hurt so much... In the last minutes, I just couldn't hold back my tears, and when, according to all traditions, Ash ran to the airport, I was glad and exhaled. In vain. The anime itself for me started to come more from the middle, really worth9/10
Hospade, it's finally over. Since the middle of the season, everything has slipped into an overly exaggerated drama, you don't empathize with gg, he will still get out of any ass. Therefore, the drain at the end looks generally strange and unjustified. After machine gun bursts, hunger strikes, experiments and various kinds of violence, he was overwhelmed by a toothpick prick? Everything started so well that I probably set high expectations too early. Sayonara, Banana fish.
I liked the story from the very beginning. I liked it to such an extent that I decided to read the manga, because I couldn't wait to find out how it would end. And the finale struck to the core, touched a nerve. I sincerely feel sorry for Ash, because at the moment when ghostly happiness and tranquility finally flickered on the horizon, he became a victim of someone else's manipulations, and subsequently of his own choice. I believe that he took his last step quite consciously, realizing that the world in which he lived all these years will never let him go, and he has no place next to Agee. The last hope was shattered at the moment when a knife pierced his body. What is there to live for now, when all the enemies are defeated, there is no brother, your hands are up to the elbows in blood, and you are afraid to drag into the next scrapes the only person who accepted you for who you are and did not demand anything in return? He no longer saw any sense in his continued existence. Otherwise, I would have asked for help. Thank you, MAPPA, for the adaptation of such an amazing work.
Even accidentally spoiling the finale for myself, I felt like crying. Strong, but quite heavy anime. I do not recommend particularly impressionable ) If you like glass, then look.
This is one of those stories that penetrates deep into you. She will stay there for a week. The characters are alive, you believe them. There are no perfect ones. What is insanely important and indicative for me in Ash's character is still a craving for light. Despite all the pain, trauma and horror, he felt and loved. The ending of this story is sad, but at the same time liberating. Everyone has a chance for something of their own. Ash will always stay with them, he and Shorter.
I fell in love with all this so much that I hated it with all my soul. Why... Why can't everything be fine? If only he would survive... And so recently, a lot of wounds from which he has not yet recovered, so he also received a knife in the stomach. I'm glad that Jessica and Max (I seem to have forgotten his name during my sobs) have finally got better. That Chinese finally found a man who cares. I'm very glad. Very saddened. And devastated.
I can still say a lot about the characters in this series, but my head is hurting too much. I do not regret the time spent on this title. Yes, it's seven in the morning! So what? I don't regret it at all... and anyway, did you all conspire there? First, the Sixth Zone on the last day of the summer holidays. Master on New Year's Eve (morning and day ahah), now also a Fish from day to morning at the end of the holidays. And I'm roaring from all over. Sadness, sadness, trouble, as it is said (they say).
"Why did you lose your vigilance?", so I sit and think, why did you lose your vigilance. I thought everything would be fine? I thought that all these spoilers in the comments refer only to the manga and that everything will be fine in the anime? Happy ending is everyone alive? And they stuck a knife in my stomach together with Ash :)
In this title, fucked up begins in the very first episode, concentrates at 9 (Shorter, my God, Shorter!) and ends only at the last 24 seconds. If it wasn't so painful in the beginning, now it's the apogee.
And for me, this is not a story about a drug that kills people, but about Ash specifically, a man who considered himself a monster, a murderer, but, imho, was not really one. A story about people's relationships and about their attitude to life.
In general, I don't advise anyone to watch it :) I don't want anyone to experience the heartache that I experienced.
@Ozu_sensei: you are right about the predominant number of girls, but here, nevertheless, there is a fairly adequate audience, in rare cases capable of dialogue (at least compared to the group of this VK animeha, where everyone is crying and eating glass, and the admin rubs any comments with the question, what, in fact, great idea). In the end, when you're a girl and you're 14, this story will be top. Not Hellsing at a tender age to watch, after all)
For myself, I collected a list of books and stories that gave the name to the episodes. Suddenly someone will be interested.

I guessed the ending at the beginning of the series. however, instead of Lao, she joked about an ordinary bandit from around the corner. for me personally, it is not the most beloved and best title, but it is worthy of viewing
It's unrealistic to feel sorry for Ash, his whole life was filled with continuous trials and losses, and despite all this resistance to fate, such a sudden end ... It was especially painful to read about Agee, how he is still, although 7 years have passed, going through the departure of a loved one.
@elen__: I almost didn't cry at the end of the anime (although it hurt). But I read this sequel now, and when Eiji said, "Do you know that Akira means "dawn"? I knew a man whose name means the same thing "how let's cry...
Sa yo na ra... one of the best anime that I had to see. I can't even find the words to express all the pain that tears from the inside. So unfair, painful and heartbreaking! 11/10
I believed until the last that everything would be fine, but the ending made me cry ... I'm very glad that I watched this title, although almost every episode brought pain to my heart :’)
I haven't watched anime for a very long time, and then accidentally by mentioning the person I signed up for, I decided to watch it Oh, last night I couldn't tear myself away and today I watched the rest of the days and it's just a glass here, yes
I didn't know what was going to happen here at all, but the story of the characters was very touching And their connection is both frightening and exciting at the same time! Of course, it's clear that everything borders on the friendship/love level, but I think it's not so important physical manifestations, given Ash's past
Of course, I was waiting at the end of the tragedy, but when everything suddenly ended ALMOST well, I relaxed a little and just thought, "the main thing is that something stupid happens now in the last minutes," and bam.... I burst into tears just before this hit on Agee's song And in short, maybe anime has disadvantages, but I got a lot of emotions and a hole in my heart. Thank you 🙏🏻
We started for health, finished for the repose. Although, probably, I haven't cried like that over anime for a long time. We chewed the glass and disperse (
The ending caused only a famespam. I wanted to put a four anime, but after watching the ending - only a three. It's just a character drain that I haven't seen yet. That is, the whole series showed us how strong he is in spirit, so his body is well prepared that in the end, instead of going to the hospital, he went to die? Seriously? I just don't have the words for this. It messed up the whole feeling of anime for me.
the director confirmed that Ash did not die at the end :) so it's a stone from the soul! but in any case, I think that such a conclusion is fine. be a happy ending!
Lord, thank you!! I'm one of those people who will convince themselves to the last with an open incomprehensible ending that everything is fine, Ash survived, he was definitely saved ... and then I see a comment about the sequel where "Edgy remembers Ash after 7 years" and just 😳💔 but you glued my heart together. because it was fundamentally important for me to find out that he survived. because such an ending such a character did not deserve
Why end up like this? It's just idiotic. It really hurts, really. They wrote above that he didn't die according to the razhisser. Well, yes, och plausibly did not die from a severe knife wound, which no one knows about))) I put 0/10 on the ending. This is unjustified cruelty for a hero who has experienced so much pizdets in his life
I am overwhelmed by the pain and the feeling of happiness that he experienced at the end. to be someone's toy all your life, and eventually meet a person who could give you some kind of spark. I'll go on crying, in short. 10/10
what... what. do you also go to the library when you are mortally wounded?.. Well, what can I say.. sayonara. I'm fucking overwhelmed with emotions. I AM INDIGNANT. WHAT IS THIS. the great Ash is already dead.. at the hands of some mutt, I apologize for the rudeness. WHAT THE FUCK. well fucked up. everything was so good, and then bams.. such a failure.
"my soul is always with you.". Agee..
– sayonara America, sayonara New York, but to you, Ash, I will not say sayonara, because I am sure we will meet again, no matter how far we are from each other, we will meet.
@ssddkkvv: well, why, some jump off the roof. here, as it were, comes the moment of truth - to continue to fight for life (perhaps unsuccessfully) or to end your journey
This is some kind of sadism. Real, undisguised sadism from the creators of the anime, to end it that way. (By the way, the ending reminded me painfully of the movie "London Boulevard" - especially when a man ran into Ash, everything became clear ...) I'm just hysterical and I can't stop crying. I just don't have the words. Just for what??? Why, why didn't Ash deserve his little bit of happiness, after all the hell he had to go through in such a short life? I am overwhelmed with a sense of injustice and indignation. Besides, I can imagine what Agee will be like to know that he will never see Ash again. After the hope he got from the guys at the airport. It hurts... well, at least a tiny hint would have been given that the wound was not fatal, well, or the librarian would have seen that he was wounded... I won't be able to accept what we were shown at the end.
Kane in one of the episodes said: "Ash will die only when he wants to"... Ash is a very strong man, he could have coped with this trifling injury, but he had no choice but to die, because he could not start a new life in any way, he simply does not know how to do anything, he is "born" to kill. and it was this moment that was ideal. he has a difficult fate, which is filled with only negative emotions, and in Agee he found those pieces of the puzzle, those positive emotions that a person lacked so much, yes, even a very child who did not know his mother's love and affection, who could not make love and even friends under the threat of their murder. he has found a man who does not demand anything in return. and he was afraid of losing it. perhaps, however, all his actions and even death are too selfish actions.
I just love such works where we are not shown the obvious "love" between the characters. there is something more going on between them than "friendship", but it cannot be called "love". I think it's something like "soulmate"? such a person meets only once in a lifetime, at the most unexpected moment. and even if they are not physically close, their souls will always be together.
yes, of course, we can hope for an open ending, because neither in the manga nor in the anime it is unclear whether he decided to die or not. but for those who are ready to destroy this dream, I advise you to read the sequel, which is called "The Garden of Light". all the answers will be there.
@sticksandstones: I absolutely agree with every word about Ash, his life and "purpose". He didn't want to become like this, but he grew up and was broken more than once, and he was going to pieces and will never be the same again. He couldn't just live and enjoy life, no matter how much he wanted to. Imho, that's why he allowed himself to die, that's why he accepted this course of fate and let Agee go to a "better" life. The question is whether that life is really the best for Agee, because he flew away, not knowing that his close friend, or maybe something more deep down, died in the very library where he saw his real one.
I was only affected by one death at the beginning and that's it... And then all 23 episodes I didn't cry, I didn't even shed a tear.. But damn, episode 24 is literally 4 minutes to the end and then I'm crying🤧 I still didn't understand, did he die in the end or not? He just lay there like that... SPOILER
And I burst into tears when he was stabbed with a knife while he was reading a letter... And most importantly SA YO NA RA
For me, this anime was filled with the desired realism, I hoped that the ending would not be unreasonably happy, but I did not expect this. The end is open, which is more difficult to survive than unambiguity. Judging by the comments, it's worth reading the manga.
A low bow to the screenwriters and the entire team that worked on the anime, for this work. I only regret that I will not be able to convince all my friends of his genius)
Well, a year later I was able to overcome myself and watch half of it... I don't know if it was worth it, because my heart stopped with Ash's heart on the last episode. cannot. I think you can't do that to people, because it just breaks all the hearts and kills everyone who watched and believed every episode that both Ash and Agee would be fine. He ran to him and for the first time in his life did not feel danger. Ash, who always keeps any situation under control; Ash, who thinks ahead, loses his vigilance on the way to Agee. All the episodes told him that sooner or later Agee would be the very reason why he could lose his grip. Well, if it had happened somewhere in the middle, it wouldn't have hurt as much as at the last minute. I'm just crying, guys. :(
But on the other hand, I don't think we could know if Ash could live a normal life with Eiji in Japan or not. Since childhood, he was used, humiliated, forced to survive, all humanity and all love for this world were destroyed in him, and not a little boy Ash, who believed in a bright future, but a killing Machine and someone who could destroy anyone, was reborn from the ashes. It is very painful when the life of an innocent person, a child, breaks down, and then a crippled monster grows out of this person, forced to survive. I sincerely sympathize with Ash, in a human way, and I really believed that Agee could give him a chance at a normal life. t_t
Nothing has ever broken my heart and made me suffer like a Banana Fish. This is really a thing for masochists. Will I reconsider it? Definitely yes.
"— Leave me. Now I am happy because I know that at least one person... One person cares about me and wants nothing in return. I can't believe my luck. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. — But it will destroy you. - It's better than living among fakes..." — Ash Links
Ash has lived a life full of pain and hopelessness. He died knowing that he was loved by at least one person. He was able to be loved even with such a fate, and finally his suffering stopped. He fell asleep.
To be honest, I was expecting the worst. I already had a picture in my head of Ash himself becoming a victim of banana fish or something. so to some extent it's a happy ending, but.... fuck. he was never able to change his fate :’) even if it was his own decision
true, I would like Ash to be brought to such a beautiful end in a slightly different way, because this whole topic with lao does not seem very logical ..... just there is no feeling that this is how it should have been and that everything is in its place
Anyway, I liked it. I really want to read the manga and learn some new details, but I don't want to relive it all again somehow))))) enough suffering thank you
however, as expected, drama for drama's sake. the characters are poorly spelled out, the authors obviously manage to prescribe torments and mental anguish, but not characters at all — oh, if they paid attention to prescribing the main characters in the same way as scenes and memories of rapes! a dirty and cheap trick, which for 24 episodes has filled his teeth. the humorous part, thank God, is there, but it is completely weak, often because of which you feel outright Spanish shame.
oh, and of course!! queerbate :) and how many conversations there were, so that in the end, even in the last letter, eji called Ash a "friend". really evangelion in the 90s could afford more than anime from 2018? amazingly.
in short, neither fish nor meat. gang fights are simply ridiculous, the original storyline with a banana was interesting, but eventually merged into the universal adoration of Ash, whose IQ for 200 is paired with such stupidity that you just want to close your eyes and not see this horror.
edgey, who suddenly began to be given a character towards the end of the series, also did not pass any story arc: he came to America, hunted, was given to shoot, left America. frankly a weak character, whose role is clear in theory, but it is so flawed that I want to cry not because of another dramatic turn.
from the pros: good shots often flashed, but the hack was also visible. some of the compositions from the ost are interesting, but nothing exciting.
in general, the series is striking except for its overestimation, where it got 4 — a secret that I don't want to reveal.
I reviewed it a second time. Suddenly I suddenly remembered about him and wanted to. And coincidentally, exactly two years ago. Only in 2020 I shed tears on January 31, and in 2022 - on January 30. It seems to me that it was even more painful. Some stories hit harder when viewed again. When you already know their end. Therefore, even at the sweetest moments, my heart bleeds…
Ash 's story reminds I am Judah from the book "Little Life" by Hansi Yanagihara. I strongly advise those who are not afraid of difficult and tragic things. This is the story that caused me almost the greatest pain, and I have a good practice in glass.
@tevladka: "Judy, Judy is my gentle, passionate Judy. Fragile, brittle, transparent, like a porcelain doll. Inflexible, stubborn, impetuous, like a thin arrow. Wounded, broken, bandaged, endlessly testing his loved ones for strength, for the sincerity of their love for him, illusory and unacceptable in his mind. How painful, how scary it is to realize and feel that no understanding, no love will save him, who has been fighting not with external, but internal demons for a long time. How painful and scary it is to realize that we, driven by sincere, real feelings, are nevertheless unable to find wholeness and happiness, that we are inept and awkward, that "we are all museums of fear", in which we are imprisoned as if in cages. That our life is small. This one is huge, important, unique and inimitable. Our. Small. Tiny" (c) lost_witch
And whose heart was turned counterclockwise And who is speechless from this ending.
I didn't cry at all. It was like a punch in the gut and numbness. I just froze and stared blankly at nothing
Although I have repeatedly seen spoilers about a certain heavy ending and assumed that Ash would die, I did not assume that so At some point, I even hoped that I had misunderstood something. Not counting on any positive in the final, when all this mess was over - I couldn't believe this joy... something had to go wrong, didn't it? The cruelest thing here in relation to the viewer / reader is how unexpectedly something happens that you expect throughout the plot. I've already set up a lot of hypotheses about how it will all end if it's bad, and I got something I didn't expect in any way. A lot of thoughts, and about why this death was justified. And why absolutely not. But I don't want to come here anymore. I was gutted, and I almost instantly went into fan theories and that's it. Most of all, I was inspired by the analysis of the opening, which shows Ash on the EVENING of the day when we see him in the anime for the last time. I know that in the manga everything ended the way it ended. But this, about the opening, I think it's just a saving move! And in general, even within the framework of the purely anime plot itself, I hope and believe that See you instead of Sayounara will really come true ♡
Guys, those who mastered the manga, compared to the Anime. Is Ash really dead? Or can I come up with an ending for myself that he just passed out from blood loss in the library, and then he was saved? And everything is fine 🥺 Or is it really death?
@posredstveno: they write that in the manga he definitely died, and in the anime the open end: read here the analysis is somewhat inspiring - https://vk.com/@priut_sosorry-banana-fish-istinnyi-konec-i-alternativnyi-chto-takoe-schast
After watching the last episode and reading all sorts of interviews and theories, I have two thoughts left in my head and none of them satisfies me: 1. As I understood it, the author could not give gg his piece of happiness in his head, because he is a criminal and a murderer. He, who has taken so many murders on his soul, in her opinion, will not be able to live in a new calm, clean world. Only that's why she didn't think Ash was still a child!! Yes, he has been through hell, but damn the child! It would have been much calmer if the final had been completely open, if they had all gone their separate ways, in the end I think Ash would have been much better off in the Caribbean with Blanca. They would have found a therapist and cured the guy's psyche. 2. Agee, even being not near, but through a letter, puts Ash's life at risk. Damn, through the whole season, the same pattern! If there had been no letter, Ash would still be alive.
I'm not even that upset or in tears, I'm just terribly angry, apparently time is taking its toll, what was the norm for storylines 30-35 years ago is not rolling at all now, people, their orientation and perception have changed, it was necessary to take this into account when screening. That's it, I'm it.
I was waiting for a good ending and then bam on you, it's sad. But in general, it turned out to be a very cool story. I will hope that Ash is still alive and will see Agee.
Delayed with the ending. Gg was leaked. The meaning of what was happening was lost, I can't remember when I still understood the meaning of what was happening.
Imagine that at the end of the Lord of the Rings, after all these endless happy endings for each character, Sam would return to the Shire, and he would be stabbed by some random orc three steps from home. That's how this ending feels…
After reviewing once again and shedding a few more buckets of tears for Ash's unfulfilled happy life in Japan, I return to these two, hoping that Xin and Blanca did not stop their communication even after the end of the story, this scene is touching
I'm sorry, but Ash is handsome, high IQ, the boss of the group, rude to everyone, soft with one person and constantly protects him, he has some instincts there, an excellent shooter, a difficult childhood... Miraculous rescues. Goltsin did not want to pump him with fish, Loon helped after the death of the Shorter, salvation from Goltsin himself at dinner. Under other circumstances, they would have gone crazy and yelled that he was a kind of Whore.
It was strong,
It was sad.
I advise anime, especially for glass lovers♡
at first I waited until the last for a trick, then I still hoped for a good ending, although I kind of knew that it wouldn't happen...
The result is a solid confident four.
I'd better go and see Jojo
I'm also going to throw on the fan - the first three arches are good, in the fourth gg I'm sad and inclined to overcome, to the fifth hz how to find fault objectively, but I didn't like it.
Well, I'm just watching crusaders, so I don't have anything to complain about yet
She pulled my grade, even though I'm not a fan of glass.
is the end of this series
and so you can see, but not impressed
that's why it's so with me
Everything started so well that I probably set high expectations too early.
Sayonara, Banana fish.
Suddenly someone will be interested.

It's unrealistic to feel sorry for Ash, his whole life was filled with continuous trials and losses, and despite all this resistance to fate, such a sudden end ...
It was especially painful to read about Agee, how he is still, although 7 years have passed, going through the departure of a loved one.
I'm very glad that I watched this title, although almost every episode brought pain to my heart :’)
Oh, last night I couldn't tear myself away and today I watched the rest of the days and it's just a glass here, yes
I didn't know what was going to happen here at all, but the story of the characters was very touching
And their connection is both frightening and exciting at the same time!
I burst into tears just before this hit on Agee's song
And in short, maybe anime has disadvantages, but I got a lot of emotions and a hole in my heart. Thank you 🙏🏻
Although, probably, I haven't cried like that over anime for a long time.
We chewed the glass and disperse (
so it's a stone from the soul! but in any case, I think that such a conclusion is fine. be a happy ending!
I'm one of those people who will convince themselves to the last with an open incomprehensible ending that everything is fine, Ash survived, he was definitely saved ...
and then I see a comment about the sequel where "Edgy remembers Ash after 7 years" and just 😳💔
but you glued my heart together.
because it was fundamentally important for me to find out that he survived. because such an ending such a character did not deserve
I put 0/10 on the ending. This is unjustified cruelty for a hero who has experienced so much pizdets in his life
Well, what can I say..
Eh.. meet me in heaven, Jap. 💔
I'm just hysterical and I can't stop crying.
The question is whether that life is really the best for Agee, because he flew away, not knowing that his close friend, or maybe something more deep down, died in the very library where he saw his real one.
SPOILER
And I burst into tears when he was stabbed with a knife while he was reading a letter... And most importantly SA YO NA RA
Judging by the comments, it's worth reading the manga.
A low bow to the screenwriters and the entire team that worked on the anime, for this work.
I only regret that I will not be able to convince all my friends of his genius)
— But it will destroy you.
- It's better than living among fakes..."
— Ash Links
Ash has lived a life full of pain and hopelessness. He died knowing that he was loved by at least one person. He was able to be loved even with such a fate, and finally his suffering stopped. He fell asleep.
true, I would like Ash to be brought to such a beautiful end in a slightly different way, because this whole topic with lao does not seem very logical ..... just there is no feeling that this is how it should have been and that everything is in its place
Anyway, I liked it. I really want to read the manga and learn some new details, but I don't want to relive it all again somehow))))) enough suffering thank you
oh, and of course!! queerbate :) and how many conversations there were, so that in the end, even in the last letter, eji called Ash a "friend". really evangelion in the 90s could afford more than anime from 2018? amazingly.
in short, neither fish nor meat. gang fights are simply ridiculous, the original storyline with a banana was interesting, but eventually merged into the universal adoration of Ash, whose IQ for 200 is paired with such stupidity that you just want to close your eyes and not see this horror.
edgey, who suddenly began to be given a character towards the end of the series, also did not pass any story arc: he came to America, hunted, was given to shoot, left America. frankly a weak character, whose role is clear in theory, but it is so flawed that I want to cry not because of another dramatic turn.
from the pros: good shots often flashed, but the hack was also visible. some of the compositions from the ost are interesting, but nothing exciting.
in general, the series is striking except for its overestimation, where it got 4 — a secret that I don't want to reveal.
1/5
There's not even anything more to say
And coincidentally, exactly two years ago. Only in 2020 I shed tears on January 31, and in 2022 - on January 30.
It seems to me that it was even more painful. Some stories hit harder when viewed again. When you already know their end. Therefore, even at the sweetest moments, my heart bleeds…
Ash 's story reminds
I am Judah from the book "Little Life" by Hansi Yanagihara. I strongly advise those who are not afraid of difficult and tragic things. This is the story that caused me almost the greatest pain, and I have a good practice in glass.
"Judy, Judy is my gentle, passionate Judy.
I remembered)
And who is speechless from this ending.
I didn't cry at all. It was like a punch in the gut and numbness. I just froze and stared blankly at nothing
Although I have repeatedly seen spoilers about a certain heavy ending and assumed that Ash would die, I did not assume that so
At some point, I even hoped that I had misunderstood something.
And in general, even within the framework of the purely anime plot itself, I hope and believe that See you instead of Sayounara will really come true
♡
Is Ash really dead? Or can I come up with an ending for myself that he just passed out from blood loss in the library, and then he was saved? And everything is fine 🥺
Or is it really death?
my heart is broken.
That's it, I'm it.
, I just get mixed emotions from the whole anime
, it's getting into the heart from the first series
That's how this ending feels…
