I thought that after the gorgeous first season it would be difficult to shoot the second one at the same level, but now the first episode comes out and Phoebe immediately proves her level. The series is just top, from start to finish. Andrew Scott fitted in perfectly. I'm looking forward to continuing and I'm glad that one of the best shows has returned.
I started the morning with a new episode, came home in the evening and watched it again. One of the most beloved series with subtle humor and irony, but at the same time telling about such important things! The series is amazing, I'm waiting for the second one!
it was a cool moment just after that on the screensaver of the series. when Priest Moriarty told her to fuck off, and she turned around and did not immediately, but smiled in response to his smile. I don't know what I liked about this moment.
The whole family are some kind of hypocrites, but funny hypocrites. Everyone was waiting for the heroine Phoebe to pull the blanket of the evening over herself and in the end she succeeded. It was funny in places.
@Masya: I would say that their family is the collective image of most people. Pretending that everything is OK, not being able to talk about personal things and all that
It was SO MUCH better than the first episode of the first season, I just aaaah, in a voice. Andrew's voice and Andrew himself—thank God. Is Andrew with Olivia Colman in the frame? Ahhhh. If they had somehow put David Tennant in there, I would have just ended up as a person, I would have been very happy.
Really. in the life of gg, a man finally appeared who does not look like a half-dead, complexed scum and the series resembled the film The Massacre of Roman Polanski. which is kind of a testament to Phoebe's insane talent. because it took Roma an hour and a half to reach such intensity, and she only took 15 minutes
@Villariba: well, still, the background of their relationship from the first season plays an important role here, so it also counts and in total it turns out even more than an hour and a half movie
I've been freaking out since the miscarriage, to be honest. And once again, I was convinced that Claire's husband was just disgusting. I don't understand how you can joke about this...
The new "stepmother" is still infuriating, even from the intonation
I am delighted with the way the characters are revealed, I especially like the sisters' relationship
What a tactless, brusque stepmother, simple as a door. I hate people like that. While I was looking at this theater of the absurd, I myself, like GG, was growing tense, and my patience was running out. It was obvious how she was trying her best to change and keep herself in control, but for God's sake, who could?! On the other hand, while I was watching, I kept thinking: uuuuuh, but my family gatherings are not so bad that I complain, people have to endure that)) The priest is, of course, amazing, with Andrew Scott in the role...What is the chance that nothing will work out with the priest in the end? Close to zero) Whooooooh. That disgusting Martin, a voucher for a psychologist's session, a small contribution to the name of this ghoul...And thanks a lot, GG, be careful! Well done, we all wanted this. Of course, I would prefer a stepmother, but okay, let's not be picky. I really like the new solemn music, it emphasizes the absurdity of the situation. And I'm totally in love with this jumpsuit, very, very hot!
God, how I hope that my father will be punished somehow by the end of the series, the most vile, hypocritical, weak and disgusting character. even his future wife does not cause as much hatred as he does. the saddest thing is that the type is absolutely familiar and real, how many such cowardly and cowardly middle-aged men are around.
I recognized myself when their father gave a speech at the beginning. She also answered the exams :D Actually, it's a good series. I got a five for the first time.
— You look great. Where have you been? — Nowhere. It's gorgeous there now XD Phoebe is fabulous in this combo, I've said it all.
I'm dying to see how Andrew Scott does it, how! It's just gorgeous, because where to sign a petition to see him in all projects around the globe.
I don't even know what made my head turn more: a sexy priest who drinks and swears, and at the same time is so caring and attentive, or a miscarriage of the eldest, which the Trash took over. Suppressing emotions is always a shitty story.
Claire, in her inability to resist her husband, angers and feels very sorry for her, she is so similar to their father in this. I hope Martin will be thrown into a burning cauldron by the end of the season, it's impossible to fuck up.
I'm sorry, I can't leave pictures in the comments, but did you notice a man in the background who was sitting alone and playing with a glass of wine? 😂
What a disgusting family, I'm surprised how she has the nerves to sit with them always at the table for so long. And yes, I'm so glad she finally hit one of them.
A very cheerful start, so much tension during dinner. And this scene in the toilet.. simply.. It's amazing how you can experience so many different emotions in 25 minutes of a series)
What a great episode! It's just interesting how it was filmed, it feels like a continuous take, it looks so great! Coleman and Scott - divine! Ps sadly noticed Andrew Scott's receding hairline😭 But he's still beautiful as always)
That's the beginning) But what problems does my sister have with self — esteem and self-esteem, to be so convenient for everyone except yourself-you still need to try so hard
Thank you, Phoebe, you're amazing, keep up the good work!

What an asshole he is

The whole family is made up of fucked-up people, what can I say? Phoebe sometimes looks more inadequate than others
And once again, I was convinced that Claire's husband was just disgusting. I don't understand how you can joke about this...

— Handsome.
Their bumping into each other just tore me apart. 😹
A great start)
Very good!

- why? Does he not attend church? Is he Mommy's favorite?
- he's a pedophile. Yes, I understand the irony
I laughed out loud)))

What a disgusting husband Claire has, just scum
