Such an unsaid, but at the same time correct ending. The balance is not broken in the world. People, with their own peculiarities and shortcomings, will move on. And Flibeg, it seems, for the first time let go of what was burdening her, because she really loved the people around her, albeit in her own way. Probably, the fact that at the end she had the strength to confess her love to the priest, to help her sister and father, freed her.
@dart93: At the end of the viewing, one moment was very distorted for me. The conflict and motivating event in the first season was the situation with the death of a friend. The whole drama, humor, postmodern, narrative is a consequence of the main fuck-up of the gg, which led to the death of Bo. The second season recalled Bo much less often. And it upset me. There seemed to be everything here for retribution / reassurance / consolation: both religious themes and a loving and understanding priest /guy. It is a pity that they did not develop this topic to the end and left it suspended, given that all other storylines were completed/looped.
@Jedy: Well, listen, it's not really about that. Boo has not gone anywhere and will never go away. Traumatic experience shapes us, and does not leave us. There is also a series about how, roughly speaking, the Flibeg overcame it, while somehow learning to take responsibility for herself. In the second season, she seems to keep things under control, but she needs to fix her shoals, and not slide into an alternative to destructive behavior. The priest is just about not giving others responsibility for your actions, and taking questionable solutions to your problems. The priest was a very shitty person, to be honest, even if he was religious.
She just forgave herself and, plus or minus, pulled herself together, which helped her move on. This is the most difficult thing - to make a mistake, forgive yourself and find the strength to move on. And Boo will always be there.
@Jedy: It seemed to me that they had just "completed the topic" with Boo. It is clear that this stage of life has not gone away, but the first season was tied to the fact that GG did not want to admit to the end that she was involved in her death. And in the last episode, she just opened up and you can say she forgave herself for it. And the second season is already underway as the next step towards redemption...
I wanted to add to the comment above that in the confession scene a couple of episodes ago, Phoebe bluntly said that she was afraid to forget people, after which they showed Boo. Whatever the feeling of guilt GG has, it subsides over time, even if not completely; and from this it can sometimes worsen. This is how an internal conflict turns out - we remember less often, but we can't let go until the end.
It seems to me that longing for Boo was like a "second layer", this season they dug deeper, the death of her mother was the first traumatic event, after which she "gave all her love to Boo", and after that she lost it.
This series is the best I've seen in a long time. I will definitely review it. I have laughed many times and cried many times, including today's finale. It's a pity that there are only 12 episodes of 25 minutes (((((
And again she left us, giving us a glimpse into her life for a very short time, and again I will look forward to meeting her again. It's very hard to part with this wonderful series.
@Lisia: But it seems to me, on the contrary, it is impossible to come up with a better ending. That slightly guilty smile of hers as she shakes her head and walks away leaving the camera behind... the series is really very good, and Phoebe Warren-Bridge is just a smart girl. I'll watch whatever she takes off)
It's just the best, amazing, and fucking thing I've seen in a while. I've been waiting for the second season for two years and every minute was worth the wait Well, everything ended exactly as it was supposed to end in this series I laughed at every joke and cried over every drama (and this ending is omg)
“I don’t think I’ll do a season three [of Fleabag] before I’m 50,” Waller-Bridge told Variety last month. “It takes so much out of me, and at the same time, it gives me so much energy, this character, that I feel like I’ve got to go and do some more stuff before I find out where she gets to next.”
I watched the series, and it was just amazing from the beginning to the very end!
Actors, game, characters, directing, script (!!!), breaking the fourth wall, breaking the breaking of the fourth wall. The list can be endless. Every second of this series is special, there is something unique about it.
And that's when you watch the last episode, and our nameless main character (have you met many such main characters?) if he walks away from the camera and waves to the viewer, then you just wave back with such a bitter-sweet sediment on your heart.
I do not know how Phoebe managed it, but the second season was even better than the first, imho. And I like the way things have come to an essentially logical conclusion.
I will definitely return to this series again, because it is really special and has settled in my heart for the last 3
I don't know why exactly, but I liked the second season more than the first, and I literally wanted to scream into my pillow from an overabundance of feelings on every episode!!!
@chillonthecouch: That's the same feeling!!! I watched season 1 out of boredom, to be honest, and I would even like to quit... But season 2 is just WOW!!!!
@homiebae: Love is awful. It’s awful. It’s painful. It’s frightening. It makes you doubt yourself, judge yourself, distance yourself from the other people in your life. It makes you selfish. It makes you creepy, makes you obsessed with your hair, makes you cruel, makes you say and do things you never thought you would do. It’s all any of us want, and it’s hell when we get there. So no wonder it’s something we don’t want to do on our own.
I was taught if we’re born with love then life is about choosing the right place to put it. People talk about that a lot, feeling right, when it feels right it’s easy. But I’m not sure that’s true. It takes strength to know what’s right. And love isn’t something that weak people do.
Being a romantic takes a hell of a lot of hope. I think what they mean is, when you find somebody that you love, it feels like hope.
Love is terrible. She's disgusting. She's sick. She's scary. It makes you doubt yourself, condemn yourself, distance yourself from other people in your life. It makes you selfish. She makes you weird, makes you preoccupied with your hair, makes you violent, makes you say and do things you never thought you would do. This is what each of us wants, and it becomes hell when we get to her. And it is very clear that this is something that we do not want to do alone.
I was told that if we are born with love, then life consists in choosing the right place to direct it. People talk about it quite often, feeling right, and when you feel that you're right, it's easier. But I'm not sure that's true. It takes a lot of effort to know what is right. And love is not something weak people do.
Being a romantic requires a huge amount of hope. I think what they mean is that when you find someone you love, it feels like hope.
God, it was so painfully beautiful that I can't. For these 12 episodes, this one alone made me cry, very cinematic. I liked the second season a little more, I'm definitely going to tell everyone around about this series. Thanks to the BBC Twitter who introduced me to it.
I like Olivia's game, but this moment is about "He's deaf, but he communicates through hands" and when he started saying something in sign language, and she "Oh, I LOVE that!", it was like I was doused in mud? As if it was ridiculed, and it was disgusting.
Still, I like that "It's God." If this is really the end of the series, then we finished very well with this song, which is "I'm gonna be alright." Because as in life — you cry, you swallow your tears, sigh and move on. Life goes on, anyway. "It'll pass", yes. And the fact that she kind of let go of the camera and also moved on. Touched by the relationship of GG and Dad. Relationships with relatives are often like on a powder keg, and this makes these moments of unity especially valuable. And the fact that the sisters are so close, finally! "I would run through the airport just for you." I hope she will be with this man she loves so much. :')
I couldn't watch the first season, because the cap is very crack, but the second season turned out to be amazing. I laughed a lot, cried a little. Andrew is wonderful, I really missed him and would like more projects with him. How sincere he is, and. I love him so much.
Oh, and I would like to note the moment where Andrew is in a robe, and flowers, roses, greenery are on the background of him. It was so beautiful and so symbolic, I even paused for a moment when I realized.
@youarebymyside: they ridiculed Olivia's character and her frivolous attitude. then she starts listing - this is a lesbian, and this is a bisexual Syrian refugee, and this is a surrogate mother. i.e. she collects "special" people around her. if it all seemed unpleasant, then I think that's exactly what they wanted to emphasize.
Such small masterpieces make life a little better. A wonderful series. The last time I got such pleasure only from "Good Omens". Damn, everything is fine in this series, and special thanks for the arias. I love every part of it, from the jolly blackie at the beginning to the beautiful life drama at the end. This series is just catharsis, I haven't felt like this for a long time.
"-I am not a bad guy! I just have a bad personality, it's not my fault. Some people are born with fucked personalities. Look at Jake. He is so creepy, it's not his fault!"
И эпичное "Fuck you..." в конце. Бретт Гельман, сыгравший Мартина, шикарен.
@yulchataj: or maybe Phoebe is just too lazy to invent names for the Persians: No way, no way, Claire, Claire. And what are the names of the stepmother and father? I don't remember anything.
Damn, but in general, the tragedy, ska, is that she fucked up - literally - the second best friendship in her life. It still wouldn't have worked out for them as a couple or not, but as friends, they have a 200% match. And as a friend, she (and he) needed him much more than as a lover.
After the end of the viewing, it feels like a good book, with an aftertaste, some scenes are repeated. The characters are all far from perfect, but how they sink into the soul. Emotions are off the scale for one square frame, from laughter to tears is one step. It ended beautifully, poetically, realistically. I'm glad I saw this creation)
The series absolute 10. Phoebe is just a legend. I was lying on the floor and roaring from the end for about an hour, but I'll dilute the comments with this: Boo was very reminiscent of her mother from the garbage, only without drugs, in the "positive" moments of bipolar. just the same immense optimism and love, even intonation, manner of speech and a little appearance. And by the last episode, for some reason, it came to the realization that Claire resembles Vera from the Voronins (imho), both in appearance and in her businesslike character, or something
everything is so sad in the end for gg , everything turned out great for everyone, everyone advanced in life, found love, career, brains, freedom. and she, like Ellie, was just thrown back to Kansas with her bare ass on the asphalt
Singing in the thorn tree. The version is modern. There is no point in doing the third season, because everything has already been said. Andrew impressed with his game, they clearly have chemistry with Phoebe. His girlfriend was at his concert in London, Present laughter, absolutely delighted. I'll be waiting for Phoebe's new movies, maybe Andrew will be there again. In a different role.
I'm sitting here rereading the comments and just starting to cry from the realization that the series is over. This brilliant series, which entered my life just two days ago, but has become so entrenched in my heart, will no longer have a sequel. And it's so damn sad. And the last look of the heroine, her nod, said that "don't worry, I'll be fine." And I want to believe it so much!
Special bravo to the actors. A separate bravo to the British atmosphere of the series. Special bravo to Phoebe for this, to some extent, for me, a life character. Separate bravo to Andrew, damn it. My whole lip is bitten after scenes with you, bitch! And thanks to you and the constantly flashing name Fleabag in Google when searching for a photo with your name, I learned this world too.
Bravo What a wonderful series. one in a million. I learned a lot of instructive things for myself. I cried, laughed, and experienced everything together with our heroine. I don't have the words. the cast, the music, the dialogues are perfect and so soulful. I want to print out a lot of quotes and hang them on the wall. I want to hug Phoebe and say thank you for everything.
This series is just love. I have such tender feelings for him. At the same time, I want to tell everyone about him and that no one would know about him. I want him to be mine alone. Phoebe is just a treasure. Thank her very much. And Andrew is a priest - it's just beyond my strength)))) Since childhood, I have been fixated on priests (especially Catholic ones), for which I must say thank you, probably, to those singing in the thorn tree. So my feelings have reached their peak)))) And another off-topic question. Has anyone found or knows what the main musical theme is? Like some kind of aria. Shazam gives me something completely wrong, VK doesn't show me anything at all, and this Music is vital to me. p.s. Rubbish is the best. We are waiting for the continuation in 20 years.😂
The series is wildly sincere, which does not try to whitewash the characters, but shows everything as it is
Although the ending is logical, I did not like it not because of the happy ending that was not given, but because of missed chances - after all, everything could have been, even for a short time. But that's the whole flavor of this series, it doesn't embellish reality.
What a great show! the ending is very correct, as it should have been... It is a pity that there will no longer be an opportunity to follow the life of the Flibag. It was interesting. P/S And as my friend said, "He was probably bitten by a fox")))
I just finished watching it, I watched the final scene 2 times. I started watching this series out of boredom, and now I'm sitting with tears in my eyes and a pleasant aftertaste. An incredible series! My emotions are so high right now that I just can't find the words. The finale is gorgeous. I don't like these sweet happy endings, I love to cry like that in three streams and it was. I write in such chunks that the first thing comes to mind. The last time I was so excited about the series "Broadchurch" and after that I did not think that I would experience such emotions again, but with "Trash" it happened again. I will definitely review it again, and then again and again. It's just gorgeous, guys. And this fox at the end, and the statuette. I love such little things, they make the series even more delicious. And acting, you just believe every word, every character, everyone!!!! I'm thrilled!!!!
The series is like a breath of fresh air, with all its vulgar, toilet jokes and obscenities. It is a rare case when you discover depth and hidden purity behind an outwardly strange and seemingly unsightly wrapper. Special thanks for the final declaration of love by the heroes to each other. I don't think I've ever seen such a poignant scene in any TV series.
Well, that's nonsense... Why do they love each other?.and so it ended...Well, I'm not happy! the song at the end is cool. it's cool that this statuette remained with her as a memory of her mother, and who would have thought that she was there... I'm glad that my sister left that husband, no matter how bad it sounds. and also a cool scene with a fox. and the open end is interesting of course.. but I would keep looking. The series is good!
@MarinaSmaluga: I think because real life is so complicated and not always fair. People quite often act the way they need to, and not the way they want or feel.
Andrew Scott's game is simply beyond praise! We played the chemistry of the characters with Phoebe so well, the sparks and fireworks between them, that I just now remembered that he was kind of openly gay... There is no point in repeating the fact that this is a great series. Watch and review!
Bitch.. My heart is broken Thanks to the second season, I still fell in love with this series(although I started watching it reluctantly, just because new episodes are not being released yet in my series) The first season is good, and the second..such a season..such a priest..it's so emotional and addictive that I cried for two episodes (I'm too emotional for losses, and then there's the funeral and that's it)Huh, and these foxes?!) And in the end, bitch, why does it hurt so much?! And only now I remembered that I chose the series because it's over😞Suuuuaa God, I'm going to miss this series and maybe I'll review it again sometime, but with a little wine
It's as beautiful as it is sad. It's simple to tears.. it doesn't seem like everything ended so badly, it's not even very bad for most, but it's a shame for the heroine.. T_T
Sometimes you wonder how much people like to create obstacles for themselves. They love each other, they're incredibly good together, but no, I can't, I'm not choosing you, and so on... Why?? Let's omit his pompous speech at the funeral, where he seemed to be trying to assure himself that he was making the right choice by leaving her. Why? The prohibitions are made up by people, they are in the head. And to be afraid that it will burn out later, or that you will try to be better for her is stupid. It's such a strange, most incomprehensible decision for me to break up, when both of you are burning with a pure, strong feeling. Sad and sad T__T
And the series is cool. The second season is really a cut above the first.
yesterday, when I started watching the first season, I thought it would be a light comedy with sarcasm and British humor, but today I watched the finale and was so deeply moved by the scene at the bus stop, in general you look at it "let it hang in the air, it will pass.. I love you too" and tears flow down your cheeks just like them, such simple words, short phrases, a dirty stop and at the same time such an emotional strong scene that absorbs you and makes you feel everything the same as they do, as if there really is no fourth wall and you are there, next to them. The fox and the statuette make me smile through tears, in the end I did not wave back, but nodded my head))
Just a damn masterpiece! there are no more words, only indescribable emotions. I cried, laughed and was amazed at the genius of everyone connected with this series. I'll review it more than once. I want to screen every damn scene. the ending breaks my heart, because this couple has such chemistry, but, at the same time, the ending is good, quite vital to itself, and kind of calms the viewer, says that everything will be alright and although I would not refuse a happy ending for these two, it seems to me that such a conclusion could greatly change the priest, and make him Much more unhappy bittersweet ending - what was needed
It seems to me that there is some kind of universal conspiracy of homosexuals, thanks to which they play heterosexual relationships stronger and more touching. I do not know how else to explain this fantastic chemistry between the actors.
@AnnaKay: Yeah, a hundred pluses for you. It's the same story with Jonathan Bailey in the second season of the Bridgertons. I just can't take my eyes off their pair😍
Starting with episode 4 of season 1, the series wanted to put another +1 star to the 5 only available. The thought did not leave me after each episode I watched that "this is definitely the best and ideal series in every possible sense," but each subsequent episode managed to beat the previous series in one way or another. Actors, acting, filming, musical accompaniment, absolutely everything is godlike, and the genre of tragicomedy is my favorite, and, unfortunately, there are very few really worthy paintings in this genre that could so deftly, organically and "tasty" present everything to work. Thanks to Phoebe and all the creators for such an amazing series🎀💣
I'm reviewing the series for the second time! And how gorgeous it is!!!! What a perfect ending!!!!!!!! It's just the way it should be!!! It's not for nothing that Phoebe has already collected all the awards-she really deserves it) Andrew Scott as the priest is fantastic! To play such real feelings and just a burning passion for Phoebe, to show inner tosses, doubts, the choice between love and faith is amazing!!! I think I will return to this series many more times. It was wonderful.
The second season of the top is simple. From the final scene, I wanted to shake the priest by the shoulders and shout that he was a fucker. You fucking love each other, but you're going in different directions because what? God? Seriously? Fuck such a god.
Why are they doing this to the audience? Who came up with the idea of making a priest so sexy? Oh, yes, singing in the thorn. What incredible views they have. The idea of developing a monologue performance into a full-fledged series turned out to be absolutely incredible. Looking at the camera seems to transport you into the plot of the book when you read about the emotions and thoughts of the character. The acting, especially Andrew and Phoebe, is knocking you down. The story of an outwardly cheerful woman with internal problems is so closely shown that you just feel all her emotions on yourself. And the plot is so harmonious that it becomes nauseating. And you know it's the right thing to do, but you really want her to be happy.
I love that the British know how to end TV shows ON TIME! To want more! I liked the first season better, although this season they perfectly revealed the secondary characters (sister and her husband, stepmother and father)! Overall, it's a pleasant experience, as something that you can return to after a couple of years and then remember with tenderness and pleasure. Now I want to watch the film version of the one-man show!
Almost a day has passed since watching the last episode. Why do I feel so sad when my thoughts return to the series over and over again? I'm hooked... And there's this music in my head...
The series is over, and my heart is somehow sad, but at the same time it aches joyfully ... I haven't had such emotions for a long time. It beautiful Just thank you. And Andrew 💔💔💔
the ending is perhaps logical. but in the end, "we come into this world alone and leave the same way alone"? still, it seems to me that Phoebe fell a little short of catharsis, there was an understatement, and the heroine as a whole did not change, despite the trials she had gone through. the same love, in fact, did not make her better - that is, it is in the series that the changes are not indicated, there is only a hint of "gaining freedom" in the form of saying goodbye to the camera, but, again, she dragged the statuette with her again.
It was a wonderful 5+ hours of British quality TV series. Everything is fine in this series: the main character, building her relationships with others, searching for herself in this life, warm sadness and high-quality humor, and all this in well-balanced proportions. We finished everything at the right moment. Thank you.
What a wonderful series! I just watched both seasons overnight. Just excitedly! I really liked it. There's so much drama in the first season and so much hope in the second.
Through all this sadness and irony, the series is still very kind and positive. I liked the ending. They're in love, but they're sad about it. I loved the acting, absolutely everyone, and I'm really glad that Claire finally left her husband. And just thank you for this series and this story.
The series is very vital. Very dramatic. I watched the first season with reluctance, I felt nothing but pity and negativity towards the characters. The meaning of the story was very vague. But now, after watching two seasons, I think I've realized... it's just a story about a man who is locked in a vicious circle of pain with no way out of it. Fleabag causes pain to the people she loves, and everything in her own life collapses. And nothing can fix this situation. Neither love, nor faith. I really feel sorry for her. I was sure that in the end the Priest would turn around and they would stay together. But no. In my understanding, this series simply pointed out to people like the main character that no matter what they do, they will forever remain floating in this pile of shit and pain, periodically "inviting" their loved ones there. I don't have the faintest idea of the reasons why humanity is filming such discouraging things.
The best moments with the help of the dude from the bank, the breakup of Claire's relationship, the conversation with her father, and the incredible scene with the priest at the bus stop (very warm and painful) are all just fine for the final episode, but I also just realized that she didn't remember her best friend the whole episode. Maybe, it passed too. It's a great series.
To be honest, I expected the series to end on a note of farewell. Well, it can't be that simple "and they lived happily ever after" in such a series! The very point was that the main character realized everything for herself, let go of the past and finally begin to live happily (at least I believe in it). Of course, I would like to see something happen with the priest, because, as I understand it, he is the one who refers to the label "first love" in Flibeg's life. But I'm so glad that Claire left this bearded scoundrel and confessed her love to her sister in the end with one phrase: "I would run to the airport just for you."
@АннаИвахник: The main character is a nasty and disgusting girl. And it's great that the series was shut down. The title of the series fully reflects its content. It's a rare piece of trash.
That's the beauty of the series :) P.S. It's even strange that you watched the series through all this hatred.
Nothing ever goes away. And yes, I felt like Martin, Harry, a dude with teeth and a little bit of that guy who jokes about gays. It's all true. I just didn't feel like a priest at all, it seems he's a purely fabulous character. Somewhere out there, among the were-foxes and divine wonders. Very. It just got through me. But it's sad.
By the way, what do you mean, "alive"? Was there any deep meaning here, or just a beautiful word with a W?
I didn't expect anything from this series at all, and I got such an outburst of emotions.😍 So subtly, with humor, with meaning, with morality, with such wonderful actors, I'm just thrilled, the series after which I want to pour a glass of white and feel this sadness because it's over.
Such a sad and such a proper ending. Everything fell into place. Well, the fox in the end is something) As long as they don't continue. The main thing is to stop in time. I fell in love with the series, though not immediately, but still fell in love.
I've been laughing and crying all through the series, sometimes even over something personal at the same time. The first season is full of pain, and the second is full of hope. Phoebe Waller-Bridge deserves a Golden Globe for all those meaningful looks into the camera.
I can't stop crying. There's so much in this series that words can't capture. In some situations, you recognize yourself or your loved ones and just acquaintances, and ... very emotionally. And thank you for stealing the statuette again, Trash <3
It was heartbreaking. It's a great series. One of the best. Considering that right after the end, you turn on the first episode of the first season again. Thanks, Phoebe.
This is certainly not what I expected from the series, but the result exceeded expectations. just great, I really like watching series that have so much depth. It's especially nice to watch TV series like Black books and fleabag because the main characters are far from ideal, but this is just for the best, since you somehow come to terms with yourself more and learn to look more at a person's virtues than at flaws. It's a damn shame that there's so little of the show, but it's for the best.
@ynhojevol: look at Green Wing, everything is far from ideal there, but you feel for all the characters like you feel for yourself. Well, the wonderful British humor with its absurdity is fully present) I love black books with all my heart
An unusual series. I've been watching British TV series for years, but this one still stands out. In the first season, the breaking of 4 walls and the behavior of gg were very annoying, in the second season everything became much better. A strong season, serious emotions, and it was in the second season that I finally got into gg and her whole family. Special thanks to Andrew for being so beautifully touching and real, both on screen and in real life. P.S. and many times the Night Snipers' song "Catholic Priest" came up in my head.
It seems to me that the priest helped her to love life. Before meeting him, she didn't know how to live her life. And even when she said "I love you," she was addressing not only him, but also God. She believed it.
That's just fine. Chotko! The right ending and on such a high note. Definitely one of my favorite TV shows now. Awesome heroes and situations are just a frenzy. I recommend watching only in the original, otherwise it's not funny at all.
The moment when you really want some kind of happy ending, but you realize that this ending is the right one, and it doesn't break or spoil anything. One of the best TV shows I've ever seen. And yes. It's good that they've closed it down and won't be sucking anything out of it anymore. A wonderful completed project.
If I liked the first one terribly, then the second season blew me to hell, how can I not fall in love? A stunningly caustic, charismatic, unvarnished and gut-wrenching series with some kind of fantastic cast. The ending is especially striking: It's the best breakup you can think of, that's what it means to end on the right note. I'm absolutely thrilled with everything, now "Fleabag" is definitely one of my favorite TV shows ever. I will miss you, but not be sad, because the heroine will be fine. If something doesn't go well, you'll get over it, everyone will get over it. And if something goes brilliantly, we'll all get over that, too
The series may seem very sad. But in fact, its main advantage is that all these topics are presented very easily. Drama is juxtaposed with humor, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge is great at making people laugh and conveying ambiguous emotions with just one glance at the camera. ✨
After all the events, after the pain she was suffocating, the man who hadn't been sitting in his outerwear on the corner of the bed in the morning appeared. Finally. It doesn't matter how it ends or how it turns out. There is a man who fell in love with the real her.
I'm a little snotty. And British humor is good, as always :)
It says it's a comedy, but I'm not laughing. It seems that by the end of the second season, I had to believe that the main character, she's Trash, had undergone some kind of transformation, but, like in many aspects of this series, it's difficult. Plus, I wasn't sad. This woman clearly has some kind of personality disorder, so I was hoping that most of the episodes would show us how she gets help, works on the grief that kills her and guilt, and tames her rampant promiscuity and generally terrible behavior, but that didn't happen. I didn't see the struggle, I didn't even see the love between the Trash and the priest. Just the charming Phoebe Waller Bridge and the clueless breaking of the fourth wall. Although I understand the appeal of this series, unfortunately, it didn't catch my eye.
The series flashed through my mind a couple more times, so I'm not going to lie, I liked the way the sisterly relationship is shown. There is a veiled concern and love hidden in each of them. I won't say that this is common, but in the context of the series, it looks pretty cute.
a masterpiece series!!! I'm in love unconditionally...The main character, Andrew, has all these relationships between each other...Oh P.S. waved at her at the end with a slight sadness and a smile
It's something beautiful. I started watching the series a couple of years ago, I watched one episode and it didn't work out for me, just from the word at all. And now I've watched two seasons in one go-and it's just a delight for the eyes, ears and soul. Great humor, great Fili, great characters, great Andrew Scott, and especially their chemistry with Phoebe. It's just something incredible. I never would have thought that Scott could be SO chemical with a woman. All in all, it's a logical ending, albeit a bit sad.
I'm just giving Claire a standing ovation and the way she opened up and sent this freak to the trash! Bravely, my dear. And her confession to her sister... I love their bond, the best girls.
The whole series is about unhealthy shit and how to overcome it. And it's very difficult. Judging is much easier. Therefore, I will not judge. Many people wrote that she somehow easily overcame the story with Boo, but not a damn thing like that, although I understand why it might seem that way. She was on her way to trying to admit to herself at least that she was to blame for her death. I've been trying to feel something all season. And in this, having overcome the guilt that does not help, having established a business and a little bit of her inner core, she finally allows herself. It allows you to feel. And don't drag this load behind you. I think Boo would be happy about that. I think it's much better than continuing to dig and torment yourself, it doesn't make it easier for anyone and doesn't solve anything. But to allow yourself to move on - yes. Definitely yes.
@chch93: "You know how to love better than all of us. That's probably why it hurts so much." I knew about this ending, I knew, but I still cried. It will pass — it will never pass, my friend. And that's the curse and the blessing of being human. In emotions, in pain, in love. In order to keep it all, make it your part and keep looking. And never give up on yourself, even when you create a complete game. Especially then. To part forever, loving each other is tragic, but much brighter than hating or even worse, just tired.
A wonderful story. Beautiful in its honesty, beautiful in that it speaks about the familiar in a new and familiar language at the same time. He talks about how important it is to give your emotions an outlet. And how difficult it is to do it. And how important it is to keep going no matter what, because only death is finite. Thanks to Phoebe and her entire team for this gift, in my heart forever and now it will never go away.
@chch93: ZY. besides the fact that the priest chose God, and this is the most bitterly logical thing that can be, I forgot to mention the simply amazing scene where the stepmother introduces her friends and her tolerant tolerance. The level of banter of a superficial attitude to important things at this moment is simply magnificent.
This is the best new thing I've seen in a long time. The first two episodes were more difficult, but then it was hard to break away. As they say, "Everything will pass. That too." 😌
Suddenly, I sat down for myself and watched the second season. I just wanted to check the voice acting, and now I've woken up on the last episode))) The series is very addictive. Gorgeous humor, the obscenity of which does not infuriate at all, bright characters, the atmosphere of London. And the incredible chemistry between the Trash and the Priest from that very first "fuck you"))) so much love and so much pain in their relationship. And then the natural end, painful but correct. Their story, like the series, is over, I don't think it's worth adding anything else. The only thing I would like to know is if Claire caught up with her Claire at the airport. Thanks to this series for allowing you to cry and laugh out loud. It was awesome.
Throughout the second season, I thought that the trash was to blame for falling in love with the priest, but after watching the last episode, everything itself was somehow rethought.
The series is weak. The first season in particular. The second one is better at times, but, unfortunately, not enough to take it out of a neutral assessment. They say that the series "Purity" is several times worse than this series - "a pathetic parody". I watched both series, and they are almost no different in the first seasons. That's why they are "on the level", and the oppression of one of them is not clear to me. Total: 6/10 (3/5)
Many people write that the ending is correct, but what is right in the fact that people who are so suitable for each other cannot be together? He was the only one who understood her, and the fact that he was the only one who noticed how she interacted with invisible friends meant a lot. I think sad endings should be banned)) There are so many of them in life
What a character formation! I helped my father, I helped my sister, I fell in love and made love to a man in return. And everyone went their own way. But if he had stayed with her, he would have blamed her subconsciously all his life. And if he stays with God and refuses her, he will bear this refusal as the price he paid. I didn't have enough time to enjoy this couple, but like life, this series is fleeting. Therefore, I left an aftertaste, not an overabundance. I liked it very much. And Claire finally broke up with that asshole, hallelujah!
I'm so happy for Claire! During this asshole's speech, I was really worried that she was going to give a backside, but it's great that everything is fine! I would probably like some kind of reconciliation with my stepmother, a heart-to-heart conversation and acceptance of each other. Jake, by the way, is a very sweet boy. As a result, I really liked the series, I would still watch and watch, despite the fact that I took the first season hard. The actress is gorgeous and I was thinking all the time: Don't her cheekbones get tired of smiling so much?
That look of his when they met behind the house: "I saw you naked and now I always imagine that you are naked." And then this stop, the shop… His tear slid down his cheek. There is so much pain, as if you are left with a knife in your heart, everything in the world freezes, the heart stops from grief, but you have to move on. It's so hard to leave the heroine in this position, but she leaves on her own, not us.
They are probably the best thing that has happened in their lives, a true love that is not destined to be together. I got so emotional this season, apparently a lot of things resonated with me. But I like this ending, life is such a life. That's the truth, "everything will pass."
This is a masterpiece! The first series, which I wanted to review immediately after watching it. Her father's words: "You know how to love better than all of us, that's why it hurts so much," I think most accurately describe her character. She may be rubbish, but she doesn't think about herself first, but about others. But he always hides behind sarcasm, feigned indifference. Damn it! Phoebe is gorgeous! To favorites, definitely.
I am very happy for my sister, but I really wanted my father not to go to the wedding, and gg and the priest were together. but then I realized that if everything had ended so perfectly, it would not have been the same. the most unique thing in the series is the connection with the viewer, often my views coincided with gg and I laughed a lot from these glances. Therefore, this farewell brought me to tears . I will miss you
For a very long time, Trash was on my list of things that I would have to look at sometime. And I'm very glad that I didn't watch the series earlier. Now he turned out to be very necessary to me, many dialogues and monologues responded and helped me feel not alone in my thoughts
At one point, at her husband's speech, I was worried that she would change her mind. "I would have gone to the airport just for you" - 💔I love these sisters🥲 The end, of course, yes.... Both sad and bright
In addition to the obvious, I really liked the scene where the Filibag says Oh my god, and the priest responds by Fucking hell. And then there's the mirror with the fuck off by the time they meet. One of the most golden moments of the series 🔥
The second season began with the phrase "This is a love story", and throughout the season, Flibeg falls in love with herself and begins to appreciate herself💔 The perfect ending to the series, albeit with such a sad aftertaste. Bye-bye, Flibeg! Be happy!
I really liked the series. It's very unusual, but it hits tender places. I think this is a story about love, about how not to burn out from inner love, which is difficult not to give to someone, be it a parent, friend or partner. The story is about a trauma that you are going through hard and you don't want to be alone, but the chaotic consequences of which lead to acts that cause even greater injuries to you. This is really destructive inside, this was the 1st season. The second one feels like a more integral, more mundane, deeper work. And the priest was very into the subject (how hot Andrew Scott is). This includes accepting your fears, speaking them out, and understanding that you can continue to love (often at the end of a traumatic relationship it happens that you go into separation, into chaos and the feeling that there will be no one else to love and you will not be able to, but it's true, simplicity is not ready). But in the end, when you finally accept the herb inside, then you realize that there are people you can love. But sometimes, in order to move on, you need to let go. It's actually a very unusual story about relationships with oneself and one's inner feelings. It seems that the series is unpretentiously light, but I am glad that after it there are so many very pleasant reflections. I liked the way the Flibeg said goodbye to the camera at the end.
P.S. The acting is just a delight. As surprised as I was to see Olivia Coleman in this series, I was just as surprised at how cool she managed to convey her character. I like in general what projects she is involved in (the Heartstoper is proof of that). An amazing woman and a really cool British actress. She is definitely my discovery in the last 5 years))
Well, it's worth noting that I watched the translation in which gg speaks in the voice of Vilanel from Killing Eve, and I caught such flashbacks that at least go check it out)) but that's the way it is, now on the show) When I started watching, I was probably sitting in episode 4 with that face, like what am I even watching?! It was a little funny, a little bit of the bed scenes, but overall I still didn't understand why I was turning it on again, but it was interesting where it was all leading to. Towards the end of the first season, I already got into it, I felt sorry for gg, it seemed to me that she was really so sad (and the second season killed her altogether, there I was already interested, turned on episode after episode, laughed out loud with jokes and cried at the end in three streams 😞 I was glad that my sister finally decided! Everyone needs to have someone in their life who, even with a terrible hairstyle, will praise you and tell you how it suits you and how fashionable and healthy you look! And about gg, it was so hot, so sad, that it was simply impossible! I doubt that such love can just go away, it will be very painful to live with it (to see the retreating back of the person you love and he loves you😣 I'm glad I poked at this series when I was wondering what kind of series with that name is)
Emotional, sad, fantastic, funny, and a bunch of contradictory words that can describe this series. Each episode is as unpredictable as possible and causes an incredible flurry of emotions. It's been a long time since I've been so captivated by a plot, I watched it in one breath literally in a day. I don't even know what I expected, but I got it all at once. I definitely recommend watching it, I will definitely think about all this for more than one day)
It's rare that the second season of a series comes out as good as, if not better than, the first. The result is a complete story about love and acceptance.
"So far, the father is ordinary. Bye, holy Father" 🤣🫣 Overall, it's not a bad series. A lot of makeup was piled up, sometimes just a hand-face (if someone else says that, hello to the millennials) A lot of understatement, a lot of blackness ... in general, I looked at the background I didn't understand the main point. They didn't reveal much about Bo.. 3/5, don't hate me, pliz, dys maiopinion, or imho, as the old people say, that is, I
a series for hopeless romantics. the final scene didn't arouse any feelings in me at all, but on the whole I liked everything: the Trash herself and her crappy family, and the pigs, and the priest, and even Claire's husband as the main balding antagonist. Sometimes funny, sometimes grotesque , I'll miss you.
After watching episode 1, I wanted to quit, but still decided to watch at least 3 episodes. I really liked the series (season 2 is more than 1), the heroine is so extraordinary, a lot of funny moments, some life situations, a lot of great phrases. I'm glad I watched it. All the actors play great (by the way, I looked on the Internet, the performers gg, Claire and Bo studied at the same place, the Kremlin Academy of Dramatic Art) I'll probably review season 2 sometime.

295It is a pity that they did not develop this topic to the end and left it suspended, given that all other storylines were completed/looped.
She just forgave herself and, plus or minus, pulled herself together, which helped her move on. This is the most difficult thing - to make a mistake, forgive yourself and find the strength to move on. And Boo will always be there.
It's so sad, but I don't think it could have been any other way.
the series is really very good, and Phoebe Warren-Bridge is just a smart girl. I'll watch whatever she takes off)
Well, everything ended exactly as it was supposed to end in this series
I laughed at every joke and cried over every drama (and this ending is omg)
“I don’t think I’ll do a season three [of Fleabag] before I’m 50,” Waller-Bridge told Variety last month. “It takes so much out of me, and at the same time, it gives me so much energy, this character, that I feel like I’ve got to go and do some more stuff before I find out where she gets to next.”
It was such small moments that made the series a masterpiece)
Actors, game, characters, directing, script (!!!), breaking the fourth wall, breaking the breaking of the fourth wall. The list can be endless. Every second of this series is special, there is something unique about it.
And that's when you watch the last episode, and our nameless main character (have you met many such main characters?) if he walks away from the camera and waves to the viewer, then you just wave back with such a bitter-sweet sediment on your heart.
I do not know how Phoebe managed it, but the second season was even better than the first, imho. And I like the way things have come to an essentially logical conclusion.
I will definitely return to this series again, because it is really special and has settled in my heart for the last 3
/waves back/
you have to watch 25 bond
That phrase broke my heart.
And also his tear that rolled down his face when he confessed to her in response
I think what they mean is, when you find somebody that you love, it feels like hope.
my free translation ~~
Still, I like that "It's God."
If this is really the end of the series, then we finished very well with this song, which is "I'm gonna be alright." Because as in life — you cry, you swallow your tears, sigh and move on.
И эпичное "Fuck you..." в конце. Бретт Гельман, сыгравший Мартина, шикарен.
A tear from Scott for last and bye bye from Phoebe-it was good. Too much.
Boo was very reminiscent of her mother from the garbage, only without drugs, in the "positive" moments of bipolar. just the same immense optimism and love, even intonation, manner of speech and a little appearance.
And by the last episode, for some reason, it came to the realization that Claire resembles Vera from the Voronins (imho), both in appearance and in her businesslike character, or something
, everything turned out great for everyone, everyone advanced in life, found love, career, brains, freedom. and she, like Ellie, was just thrown back to Kansas with her bare ass on the asphalt
What a wonderful series. one in a million.
Phoebe is just a treasure. Thank her very much.
And Andrew is a priest - it's just beyond my strength)))) Since childhood, I have been fixated on priests (especially Catholic ones), for which I must say thank you, probably, to those singing in the thorn tree. So my feelings have reached their peak))))
And another off-topic question. Has anyone found or knows what the main musical theme is? Like some kind of aria. Shazam gives me something completely wrong, VK doesn't show me anything at all, and this Music is vital to me.
p.s. Rubbish is the best. We are waiting for the continuation in 20 years.😂
And thanks to Phoebe for a year of proaccount)
Thank you Phoebe for this masterpiece
Although the ending is logical, I did not like it not because of the happy ending that was not given, but because of missed chances - after all, everything could have been, even for a short time. But that's the whole flavor of this series, it doesn't embellish reality.
shtosh.
Thank you, Phoebe.
If you can, come back. we will be waiting :)
It is a rare case when you discover depth and hidden purity behind an outwardly strange and seemingly unsightly wrapper.
Special thanks for the final declaration of love by the heroes to each other. I don't think I've ever seen such a poignant scene in any TV series.
the song at the end is cool.
it's cool that this statuette remained with her as a memory of her mother, and who would have thought that she was there...
I'm glad that my sister left that husband, no matter how bad it sounds.
and also a cool scene with a fox.
and the open end is interesting of course.. but I would keep looking.
The series is good!
People quite often act the way they need to, and not the way they want or feel.
Thanks to the second season, I still fell in love with this series(although I started watching it reluctantly, just because new episodes are not being released yet in my series)
The first season is good, and the second..such a season..such a priest..it's so emotional and addictive that I cried for two episodes (I'm too emotional for losses, and then there's the funeral and that's it)Huh, and these foxes?!)
And in the end, bitch, why does it hurt so much?!
And only now I remembered that I chose the series because it's over😞Suuuuaa
God, I'm going to miss this series and maybe I'll review it again sometime, but with a little wine
My heart is broken. Good and bad at the same time. The ending fits this series.
PS: but to be honest, I didn't understand why he didn't ask her to marry, because priests can do that, why not?
And the series is cool. The second season is really a cut above the first.
there is nothing to add, well, if only - it's a big and big 💜.
That's honest. I just wanted to be silent and smile.
and it seems to be sad, but how warm it is from this series.
That's it, I'm silent...
💜
and although I would not refuse a happy ending for these two, it seems to me that such a conclusion could greatly change the priest, and make him Much more unhappy
bittersweet ending - what was needed
Three teas for this lady!
What a perfect ending!!!!!!!! It's just the way it should be!!!
It's not for nothing that Phoebe has already collected all the awards-she really deserves it)
Andrew Scott as the priest is fantastic!
To play such real feelings and just a burning passion for Phoebe, to show inner tosses, doubts, the choice between love and faith is amazing!!!
I think I will return to this series many more times.
It was wonderful.
I'm so glad Claire left her husband, just thank you.
A very funny and vital series!
I would have run through the airport just for you!(c)
I haven't had such emotions for a long time. It beautiful Just thank you.
And Andrew 💔💔💔
https://i.redd.it/gxh4jli6v7w41.png
looks in one go
. I like it.
I don't have the faintest idea of the reasons why humanity is filming such discouraging things.
are all just fine for the final episode, but I also just realized that she didn't remember her best friend the whole episode. Maybe, it passed too.
It's a great series.
"It'll pass.
But I'm so glad that Claire left this bearded scoundrel and confessed her love to her sister in the end with one phrase: "I would run to the airport just for you."
That's the beauty of the series :)
P.S. It's even strange that you watched the series through all this hatred.
So subtly, with humor, with meaning, with morality, with such wonderful actors, I'm just thrilled, the series after which I want to pour a glass of white and feel this sadness because it's over.
As long as they don't continue. The main thing is to stop in time. I fell in love with the series, though not immediately, but still fell in love.
When she smiled at the camera, I smiled back at her. I guess we're both crazy now)
And thank you for stealing the statuette again, Trash <3
I love black books with all my heart
Special thanks to Andrew for being so beautifully touching and real, both on screen and in real life. P.S.
and many times the Night Snipers' song "Catholic Priest" came up in my head.
the gun show, the main thing is that it ended on time, thanks to Amazon
The right ending and on such a high note. Definitely one of my favorite TV shows now. Awesome heroes and situations are just a frenzy.
I recommend watching only in the original, otherwise it's not funny at all.
If something doesn't go well, you'll get over it, everyone will get over it. And if something goes brilliantly, we'll all get over that, too
— It'll pass.
It doesn't matter how it ends or how it turns out. There is a man who fell in love with the real her.
I'm a little snotty. And British humor is good, as always :)
The series flashed through my mind a couple more times, so I'm not going to lie, I liked the way the sisterly relationship is shown. There is a veiled concern and love hidden in each of them. I won't say that this is common, but in the context of the series, it looks pretty cute.
P.S. waved at her at the end with a slight sadness and a smile
and, damn, this Serbian "belly" in the most painful place.
Yes to the campaign
The whole series is about unhealthy shit and how to overcome it. And it's very difficult. Judging is much easier. Therefore, I will not judge.
Many people wrote that she somehow easily overcame the story with Boo, but not a damn thing like that, although I understand why it might seem that way. She was on her way to trying to admit to herself at least that she was to blame for her death. I've been trying to feel something all season. And in this, having overcome the guilt that does not help, having established a business and a little bit of her inner core, she finally allows herself. It allows you to feel. I think it's much better than continuing to dig and torment yourself, it doesn't make it easier for anyone and doesn't solve anything. But to allow yourself to move on - yes. Definitely yes.
I knew about this ending, I knew, but I still cried.
As they say, "Everything will pass. That too." 😌
The series is very addictive.
It was awesome.
all the characters have become so dear, I don't believe that I will have to part with them.
The ending is perfect, I'm so glad I found this series.
They say that the series "Purity" is several times worse than this series - "a pathetic parody". I watched both series, and they are almost no different in the first seasons. That's why they are "on the level", and the oppression of one of them is not clear to me.
Total: 6/10 (3/5)
I didn't have enough time to enjoy this couple, but like life, this series is fleeting. Therefore, I left an aftertaste, not an overabundance. I liked it very much.
And Claire finally broke up with that asshole, hallelujah!
And then this stop, the shop… His tear slid down his cheek. There is so much pain, as if you are left with a knife in your heart, everything in the world freezes, the heart stops from grief, but you have to move on. It's so hard to leave the heroine in this position, but she leaves on her own, not us.
In general, now I want to get a guinea pig 🤗
Thank you 💔
The end is sad, but expected
The perfect ending to the series, albeit with such a sad aftertaste. Bye-bye, Flibeg! Be happy!
She is definitely my discovery in the last 5 years))
When I started watching, I was probably sitting in episode 4 with that face, like what am I even watching?! It was a little funny, a little bit of the bed scenes, but overall I still didn't understand why I was turning it on again, but it was interesting where it was all leading to. Towards the end of the first season, I already got into it, I felt sorry for gg, it seemed to me that she was really so sad (and the second season killed her altogether, there I was already interested, turned on episode after episode, laughed out loud with jokes and cried at the end in three streams 😞
I was glad that my sister finally decided! Everyone needs to have someone in their life who, even with a terrible hairstyle, will praise you and tell you how it suits you and how fashionable and healthy you look!
And about gg, it was so hot, so sad, that it was simply impossible! I doubt that such love can just go away, it will be very painful to live with it (to see the retreating back of the person you love and he loves you😣
I'm glad I poked at this series when I was wondering what kind of series with that name is)
Overall, it's not a bad series. A lot of makeup was piled up, sometimes just a hand-face (if someone else says that, hello to the millennials)
A lot of understatement, a lot of blackness ... in general, I looked at the background
I didn't understand the main point. They didn't reveal much about Bo..
3/5, don't hate me, pliz, dys maiopinion, or imho, as the old people say, that is, I
By the way, as if it were possible to do season 3, it wouldn't spoil it.
at all, but on the whole I liked everything: the Trash herself and her crappy family, and the pigs, and the priest, and even Claire's husband as the main balding antagonist. Sometimes funny, sometimes grotesque
, I'll miss you.
Bravo to the actors who played like that
