I liked this series, it wasn't that creepy for a long time, my heart stopped when watching it, one of the policemen said something like: "Actually, people are 99% good, we just have to deal with evil or bad people," how I want to believe his words, but it's very difficult.

If you're still thinking about whether to watch or not, then definitely watch!

It's a great series! A very brutal crime formed the basis of the series, the creators managed to perfectly convey all its cruelty, the victim is very sorry, no one deserves this. It's good that we managed to catch all the criminals and punish them.

PS. After watching the American police series, it was very interesting to watch the work of their colleagues from India, their conditions are much much worse. One can only wonder how they can do their job properly under such conditions.
It was also funny to see how all the detainees were taken by the hand, as if the police had never heard of handcuffs.

This is something incomparable. What an atmosphere, what actors! I'm waiting for the second season.

The atmosphere of the series is terrifying. A different culture, different people, a different life. When you look at Steve McCary's photos, it seems that all of India is made up of sweet, kind people. And yes, that's what the culprits look like. Until they are pinned to the wall, then an animal grin appears. The motivation for violence is simply depressing. And it is impossible not to note the conditions in which the police have to work. Yes, it's a complicated matter, but it's hard to imagine that a person would not be allowed to go home for 5 days.

The filth and poverty of the local population have been revealed a little more than completely...

The event is truly terrible, goosebumps ran from all this from the first to the last episode. I visited the same places where the protests took place in 2020, but I didn't know about this incident and now I look at that old experience in a completely different way... This Gate, this is where everything happened at arm's length...

I am glad that I watched this series and it is good that these problems resonated at that time by touching on such a sensitive topic and filmed the series to tell the world this story so that the girl's legacy would live on.

The actors are all in their places, the moments, sometimes diluted with unobtrusive jokes, are also pleasing, and knowing Indians, jokes in the style of "I saw this done in American TV series" (the scene about the impression of teeth of rapists) - it seems that everything really happened))
The atmosphere is completely consistent, indeed, the lives of poor people were not embellished, the series qualitatively and reliably depicted the problems that Indian society is facing now (the fact that the girl was from Untouchables and what attitude to them, etc.).
