I was thinking, what is this series about anyway? The storylines are completed in a vague way, in the third season the plot did not look particularly solid in principle. But then I decided that for me this series is about accepting myself as a "separate" person, without a husband/wife/child/habitual lifestyle. The characters cope with the changes in their own way, but eventually accept these changes, find some harmony for themselves and move on
I think that such a finale can also be called a happy ending. They stayed close, no matter what status, they support each other. Maybe it was worth going through a divorce to understand that husband and wife separately also mean something, to understand what is really valuable in this life (family and children). The series has its own audience, I'm sure. And as a result, there is something to think about in your life..
I think in times of epic series like Game of Thrones, sitcoms and sharp plots, it's hard for such a calm series with a measured narrative to find its audience. The series about ordinary people under 50 does not fall under any of the popular categories, which -alas - automatically sent it to the landfill.
I liked the series, it's honest, kind, about ordinary people with everyday problems, dreams of something more, everyday troubles and strange friends. I am very glad that Francis and Robert did not get together in the third season, it would have crossed out the very idea that there is life beyond the MKAD... sorry, after the divorce. This life is not the most joyful, with its ups and downs, but you should not lose yourself behind all this. I would love to watch something like this.
And I liked the series. With humor on life situations. Sarah Jessica is excellent , she always looks very stylish , no matter what she 's wearing , even different socks look cool 😁
A good series, on the whole, on the topic of divorce everyday life, seasoned with satirical and sometimes blackish humor. The first couple of seasons, to my taste, turned out to be more cheerful and sharper, the third one was delayed, apparently, that's why it was closed. Sarah Jessica Parker is habitually good.
The final episodes of the season stretched the series as a whole, it seems to me. A good series for a general assessment of the possibilities after a breakup. 3/5
