Stephen's breaking voice, a real neck - but at the same time there is not a single memorable song that I would like to add to the playlist.

Stephen, who kisses the ground meter by meter, is a separate charm, amazing.
I don't understand the complete feeling that after the extreme series, all the characters have become extremely stupid, especially diamonds.
I understood that there would be no new plot twists - we are in hiatus before the new season. But I was very glad to see the diamond moms who care so much about Stepan, the mini-homeworld on earth and all these buns in general: Jojo yelled right from the new fuse, added a few songs. Nice spinoff ❤️
It's beautiful, cute, but somehow very lightweight compared to the series. I don't know what ending I was expecting, but definitely something more than interesting than the return of the memories of the main trio and the repetition of all the old stories. Spinel visually does not fit into the style of SUE at all, some Looney Tunes character with the character of Harley Quinn. And in general, she is more mentally unstable than a dramatic character. The rest of the minor characters flash in the frame, but nothing else is remembered by anything else. The end with the Diamonds who decided to adopt Spinel, which they see for the first time in their lives, is something completely out of the category of strange. It was a little disappointing, but thank you at least for such a conclusion to the story (because the ending of Star vs the forces of Evil we will not soon forget).
It was worth watching the movie at least even for the sake of the Stag.

Yes, I could probably find fault with a lot of things, but I didn't try to do it while watching. I didn't have any expectations (the last season showed me not to expect too much). So I watched, accepting all the conventions. And the cartoon touched me. Touched me to tears many times.
There are a lot of beautiful little details in it (a Garnet dancing at a party, a diamond ship folding a heart), thanks to which it feels like this is still the same project.
Here many scold the film for the strange behavior of diamonds, for the fact that Stephen kisses the whole earth to cure her. But it seems that throughout the entire series, a number of characters changed excessively quickly in character for the sake of the plot. It seems that throughout the series there were a lot of strange conventions that we viewers were forced to accept. I feel this cartoon is part of the series.

So, yes, this movie is not a masterpiece. But it was as if he brought me back to the old days when I was madly a fan of XIU. I want to watch this movie over and over again, rejoice and worry about what is happening, enjoy the amazing playful animation of Spinel and sing along to the songs. Perhaps this is really "not the Steven Universe that we fell in love with," as we wrote above, but I am still incredibly grateful to the creators for this film.
I wouldn't say that I liked Spinel, it reminded me too much of Cuphead. Yes, and this is a harlequin of a small mind. This story about standing in one place for 6,000 years does not color her at all. As well as the essence of the plot of the film, that she arrived, destroyed the Earth and flew away happy to a new life. But most importantly, stevenotherapy worked again.
The coolest moment was the merger of Greg and Steven. Why didn't they do it before?! Such a GAR!!!

Honestly, after the teaser, I was afraid to watch, the new enemy did not inspire confidence. As it turned out, it was not in vain. But they coped, the film came out great, I would like to say a worthy conclusion to the series, but the epilogue has already been released. In any case, it was nice to return to the beloved universe of lesbian gems from outer space.
I enjoyed watching everything in one go. I miss the cartoon, because, probably, the aftertaste.. a kind of kind sadness.
And once again, Pink is the worst character in the universe at all. Selfish little bitch
